I’m 65. I have always been the mover and shaker in my marriage. After 38 years of marriage and now ten years of being single, I have met a man who wants to take care of me. I was VERY resistant. It was so hard to change. He continued in his efforts and I learned to trust him and I swear this ladies, leaning back and letting him take the lead has been life changing. I won’t say it was easy, but my life is so, so, so much better now. It’s like Aretha’s song “I feel like a natural woman” and it is wonderful. My life is less stressful and I truly feel blessed.

My man was used to toxic relationship. When I came, I was like a breath of fresh air to him ( in his own words). I'm feminine, I talk softly, I express myself clearly and firmly. I am submissive and listen to him and let him take the lead. We disagree, we dont fight and we resolve it through proper communication. He was like "that was it?" He wasn't used to it. He said he never had such a peaceful, supportive and affectionate relationship in his life. That whenever he is with me, he feels peace and quiet.

In the past, I've been forced to be in my masculine energy in order to provide and protect my family. About 5 months ago I met the man God intended me to be with. Naturally my masculine energy has taken a back seat to his alpha masculine energy which has made me feel more feminine than I ever had before. It's such a relief to trust him to lead! I couldn't be happier being submissive, and I'm still a strong woman! 😊❤

What sucks is as a woman, I grew up bottling my emotions up because I was told I was to emotional… now that I’m a grown woman it’s hard for me to express my emotions calmly, cuz of lack of practice. Verbalizing things calmly and kindly is the key, but it’s takes practice and doing, and be prepared to feel extremely vulnerable and weak doing so. But it pays off…

I'll say this as well. You are so right about femininity being OUR responsibility. I have mostly led a life in which I've been so tough, strong, and rough around the edges that people have thought I was lesbian! 😅😂 I'd often come off so intimidating to men. But I've always known that I want to be happily married since I was a small girl, so I knew I had to make some adjustments. I knew I could not wait until he arrived. I knew I had to be ready for him PRIOR to his arrival. So, again that is so true. No one had told me those things, it was just something that I knew and felt within myself. I believe that any woman that is TRULY serious about love will be willing to get out of her own way. Everyone else is lying to themselves.

I understand the wild girl analogy and in my previous marriage my ex purposely created a dynamic where he wanted to see us fight for him. So telling him, reassuring him, taking care of him sexually wasn't enough??? I draw the line at my husband of 9 years having the audacity to bring a 24 yr old to my home to fight for her man? - my husband??? Sweetie you can have him! Line crossed and there was no coming back from that.....

These are all so true! My fiance says the first thing he was attracted to were my honesty and clarity and how I complement him (he is a very masculine and analytical/logical man) while I was more emotional and expressive. But there's a huge difference in being open/submissive/expressive in personal relationships vs in professional relationship, he says he likes how im rigid and has boundaries in my work, so maybe you should emphasize that being feminine should be applied only with your man but should be more masculine with her colleagues, or you don't agree?

Stephan this is great. I'm currently engaged to the love of my entire life and he told me that when he first saw me he saw love and passion in my eyes. He hadn't even dated me yet but he was certainly spot on with what he saw. He is such a loving and dependable Pisces man and has made it clear that he's always wanted a loving and nurturing woman. Despite me being so willing to be a helpmate and submit, he still values my input and even requires it at times. He trusts my views and opinions and I think it's so amazing to witness because he IS a WHOLE masculine man who is very responsible in handling his business and has no problem with leading and doing it firmly if necessary. Also, he's very different from past types who were like "I'm the man! I have all the answers!" I definitely learned more about the judgmental point. I did realize that I as a Cancer woman, I tend to have high standards specifically related to the home and close relationships. Thank you so much for this. ☺️

Submission is not a problem, but only if this man is your husband and he is providing to your needs. 😢 I am so learning the hard way to not submit to a boyfriend or a fiancé only your husband. Women, please don't do wifey duties to the men who can't commit all the way to the altar. Jump that broom first before doing any wifey duties. Don't give out no snacks, goody bags, treats, don't cook shit, don't clean shit, don't give out shit, until you married license in all period.

Submission is automatic when the man is in his God given place. No sensible woman with a vision for her own life is going to submit to a man with no self control, no discipline or a trusted provider. The Bible says the man is the head and it’s with good reason. The only way to fix the age old battle between men and women is to fix the relationship with man and God.

Thanks again for another amazing video. I can confess that in my past relationships, I did not listen to my intuition and I ignored and rationalized a lot of things that needed to be addressed. Watching these videos has me feeling attacked (no hard feelings)but it’s ok because I need to hear this and it helps me recognize my flaws and the thing I need to work on. All of this a big learning lesson for me while on this healing journey. Thanks again! This helps✨

This man is so anointed. A lot of these life coaches that are popular have wisdom, but even they sometimes just speak just to say something. I feel like everything that Stephen says has a purpose and a real message filled with overwhelming wisdom. God really has his hand on this man. I pray that he protects him and his family because he is like the King Solomon of today- wisest man on earth 🌍 If he (Stephen) reads this please make sure to travel with your wife everywhere you go just like Billy Graham did. He did this so he could never get accused of anything The devil lives to tamper with meaningful ministries . The devil be working overtime 😢

Thank you! I just love all of these points! And yes I agree that as long as a man’s a great leader (along with the relationship being healthy and between two healthy adults) it could be easy to be submissive! I know I get tired of doing things and would enjoy a husband to share life with and pour into. And for myself learning to submit to God first was a great start for me as a women before I meet my husband. God is the most trust worthy. Plus I love Him SO much! 😊

I don't understand why submission is a topic only targeted at women? Submission is reciprocal. Men need to discuss what submission looks like from a male perspective, submission is not a one way street, it doesn't work like that.

Inability to submit to an authority has a lot more to do with the perception that the leader is untrustworthy in some way, or lacks some quality that allows a woman to rest in his stewardship. If a man doesn't lay himself down for a woman as Christ layed himself down/sacrificed himself for the church, he is not trustworthy. If a woman is Christian, the spirit within won't allow her to submit to an ungodly or untrustworthy man. It's all about trustworthiness. Women will freely submit to trustworthy men.
