On Today's Episode:
You're worried that if you do it, you’ll lose out, he’ll move on and someone else is going to replace you. This episode is all the reasons why you should walk away anyway. Be willing to stand for yourself and hold yourself to the highest standard because you are worth so much more.
Put your self-respect first and make sure the partner you’re giving your time to has earned access to you, your heart, and your vulnerabilities.
Pastor RC Blakes is a voice for female empowerment that doesn’t dance around hard conversations and addresses the realities women are struggling with in society. He’s the bestselling author of Queenology, Father-Daughter Talks, Soul-Ties and more. He and his wife, Lisa, also host women's conferences to bring healing and power to women in search of a better version of themselves free of abuse and manipulation.
In this short clip with RC Blakes, we get a complete break down on what we lose chasing the wrong men and everything there is to gain when you’re willing to walk away, even when it hurts.
RC Blakes Wisdom:
“A wife is a woman that sets a certain standard, holds to it, and demands that I meet her at that level.’
“If you don’t know who you are you don’t know who fits into your future.”
“One of the greater tragedies of a woman that gets caught up in a situation where a man keeps circling and drawing her back in. He’s made you unavailable for the right kind of man, the right kind of love that’s ultimately seeking to find you.”

I don’t think men gain perspective from distance. They immediately take up with someone else, so they don’t have any distance. The woman should still respect herself by dropping him, though.

He was never a man to begin with. Boys distract themselves with flings and fun to avoid the work of growth. Some boys are too scared to become real healthy men. Now we have a bunch of scared boys looking like men that will harm women and children instead of protecting them. They will neglect, emotionally abuse, physically abuse and more instead of protecting, supporting, loving them. They can't give it to themselves so they can't give it to others.

Butg women reject all the men that value them its in your dna to reject men who value you because your programmed to get the best catch possible, this means in your mind unless someone doesnt value you he must be below me, so you reject all those men and only go for the ones who dont care about you at all, best case scenario is he cheats and uses you for sex, worst case scenario is he is really abusive and ends up hurting you ! its no use saying only go with men that value you, you just wownt do that ! like EVER ! It amazes me that women dont realize this, especially when they look back at who they rejected and all those awful dispicable discusting men they slept with on the very first night !

A man i was dating asked to take a step back. I said ok. A few hours later he tried to text me. I told him he doesn't have access to me during this time, and he should stand on his word. Four days after that he text me asking did I want something I left in his car. I told him to throw it away. A month after that he sent flowers to my house on Mother's Day, we dont have children together. However, during the month I walked away, I realized I wanted more than he has to offer. I loved him and thought about him every day during that time, but that time was valuable for me to reflect.

@ice water He tried to make me jealous by posting something that appears to be him on a date. He showed him buying 2 drinks. I thought it was pathetic. Again, walking away allowed me to view the situation objectively. I require a mature man that doesn't play games. Walking away or no contact should not be a desperate attempt to win an Ex back. It is a time to invest in yourself. Trust me, it was very hard walking away from someone I love. However, I love myself too much to chase after someone that is not sure about me. I'm always going to bet on me!

Lisa’s totally nailed it - if a man doesn’t want you (or offers commitment) within a certain time-frame, WALK AWAY. Don’t waste your life ‘waiting’ - get on with your life and he’ll see what he’s missing. And (from experience) if he doesn’t capture you, he’ll be the loser. Guaranteed.

@sabajahangir1588 don't demand it. Discuss commitment with him and what it means to you both, tell him where you would like for your relationship to go and what you would like for your future in general (marriage, children, etc.), then listen to his side, and if the two don't match and there is no room for compromise, release each other. Demanding won't get you anywhere, it's counterproductive and sets a very bad tone for the relationship as a whole.

Ladies Ima be honest…take what these dating coaches say with a grain of salt. I’m so confused as to how his love story is “beautiful”…a good woman took a chance on a serial cheater and he told her he didn’t wanna marry her..only to change his mind when he realized that she can pull a “high value” man. Dating men involves so much mental gymnastics….why can’t i love you 100% without you getting weirded out. The more i talk to married women..and single women the more i don’t see men as worth it. When you ask men why they are bitter towards women it’s always something around money or the woman having emotions and asking them to have accountability. Weeding out a gold digger is not rocket science…men are willfully ignorant cuz they want that chase and subconsciously desire women who don’t want him. If Blakes wife remained single…he would have never wanted her back but because he saw the caliber of man she can pull…now she’s a queen. Men care more about the opinion and values of other men than what woman is best for them

Unfortunately I'm not Lisa I don't have anymore years to give away, and I don't trust that a man who has never been faithful will suddenly become faithful. I could be wrong but God hasn't told me to go back, he told me to go forward.

It’s true. A lot of the time if there is TOO much space, usually it’s the woman who decides “hold up, I’m worth more than his indecisiveness, I’ll make the decision here.” 😅 Thinking time is awesome and needed. He doesn’t want me? Ok, I’m not chasing or begging. My self-esteem and worth are much more important. A man WILL move mountains to pursue a woman he loves, so there’s no excuse. None. I always remember a quote from long ago, “Silence IS your answer.”

He didn't come back and I'm glad I didn't stay he didn't love me after all. But his mother is reaching out to me now and I know his marriage was a power move and i was expected to beg and make a fool of myself. I didn't respond to the mother. I didn't realize he was narcissistic while I was in it. Spirit made me reject his projected tramua he would play. It took me years to leave. I am like a spiritual warriors now. I decided to not be bitter but it was a lot of mental work, and many tears and sleepless nights but I love who I am without him. When you're a real woman and you know what you want and sexual desire is a enormous part of us- to simply ignore it, is absolutely ridiculous advice- just be picky on who you choose, and a man should be doing the same damn thing--- but Society has indoctrinated the human male to be absolutely honorless- as far from being a (real man / Divine masculine) and non-Discerning as one can get. and let's not forget- with a depravity that knows NO BOTTOM!! That's what's really going on here , but nobody wants to address the real problem ! Gee, I wonder why that is????? And B t w- she can wait as long as SHE WANTS- hes just gona be getting it on the side, make it look like he's waiting and being patient 😏 And I'll be damned if Im going to pay for that by lessoning this life that i was given by denying my desires! My how we forget what this (toxic and cowardice patriarchal regime has done for thousands of years - "RULEZ FOR THEE, BUT NOT FOR ME" (YEH, THEY CAN KISS MY ASS AND WALK BACKWARDS)! like they usually do anyway--

Also our words are conduits to what we sow into our life. If that’s all you say that you’re not going to find love and there is no love for you. That is exactly what you get.. Let’s use our words and thoughts wisely! They are so expensive!💕

This has been unbelievably hard but not for the same reasons. After 27 years of marriage with an abusive Narcissist I've found myself alone. He finally broke me (which I unwittingly allowed.) And he secretly moved onto another woman. One day my world was turned upside down after discovering this. I do NOT want him back. But the long connection between us leaves me so vulnerable and desperate on occasion. Not desperate to have him back but desperate to know I'm still valuable. When in truth, I know I was always valuable & he still doesn't deserve me. I've grown more in a few months than the last decade. I just NEED to let go of my desire to feel valid to this man.

You will be waiting until death to receive that validation from him. I went through something a little similar and still trying to pin point when someone is a narci! I always wanted validation from him and he came to someone that wasn’t broken and knew I was able to validate myself. I wanted it from him and know till this day, I will never get it! I was in a relationship and he was verbally abusive, No matter how I begged him to stop. It wasn’t my fault, it was him acting on pain from his past relationships. I talked to him about his past, I gave him the offer to leave me if he wasn’t ready. He told me he was over his past and acted right for a week. I finally blocked him with tears in my eyes. He called my mom, and I wouldn’t talk to him. 2 months later ( with no communication) He called me, apologized, acknowledged his ways, and we are now happy. He expressed he understood why I did what I did, but couldn’t stop thinking about me. I had listened to RC BLAKES teaching about the power to walk away, it’s for games, it’s not to taunt, it’s for clarity for the both of you. I must admit I wasn’t surprised he called, we had a connection, and truth be told, I thought about him daily, but for me and my sanity, I couldn’t take the verbal abuse. We are GOOD now, and he’s a lot more mindful of his words. THANK YOU RC for all your teachings. I don’t have anyone to teach me what you do, so I THANK YOU
