Hi @anum3702, Retracting your eyelids isn't done for a prolonged period in corneal reshaping, and is needed for your own safety. It should not alter your eyelids. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Doctor i just wanted to ask you a serious question. I done hair transplant and results are good. this is my 9 th month. i still have hair loss i notice when bathing or moving hands i shed hairs from transplanted region. not much hairs but small amount. i know that we can loose 50-100 hairs per day as a part of hair cycle. the length of my hair is long it ends till my eyebrow but some hairs that iam loosing didn't have the full length. It has medium length and its not hair breakage iam sure. Is loosing hairs with medium length when i have lengthy hair is unusual or its normal.

Hi @user-mw2sx6cs7t, You don't lose 50-100 hairs a day, you shed 50-100 hairs a day. Shed hair grows back. Pattern hair loss is when shed hair grows back progressively thinner, and there is a delay in regrowth. Hair grows thinner until the follicle completely miniaturizes, if left untreated. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hello doc really appreciated all the informative videos you put out on your channel, I had a question about buccal fat removal, what is your opinion on it? Can it age you quicker? And should a younger patient consider it? Thanks alot.

Hi @user-df4bl8tr6n , Generally, I only perform buccal fat removal when it has descended, so it appears like jowls. Otherwise, I don't recommend or perform buccal fat removal on younger people as buccal fat is important for youthful facial volume, so if you remove it, you will likely look older overnight. It would be very comforting to be treated by you. But she doesn't have the money to visit you. So she decided to visit India for better treatment than here in Bangladesh. Hi @fazlerabby6591, Sorry to hear about your friend's problem. I'm not familiar with surgeons in India, so I advise you seek an oculofacial/ oculoplastic surgeon who frequently performs eyelid ptosis correction surgery. You can also look for a local ophthalmologist for a referral. I hope this helps you.

Hai sir nice video. sir i am 22 yrs old since the past 4 years i am observing my hair loss deeply . iam balding and taking meds ( minoxidil, dermarolling ) soon i will add fin too. I shed hairs from everywhere of my scalp its normal can be a part of normal hair cycle. I shed hairs from donor area also the thing which is concerning me the most is i do shed 15 - 20 fine hairs ( all thin small weak baby hairs ). This type of shedding started some years back. I cheak my donor area recently with my doctor he said my donor area is healthy. But this thin hair shedding is making me sad and confused is this an early indicator that my donor area will became thin and this thin hair shedding from donor area a warning sign or this is normal. I hope u understand my concern and iam expecting a response.. Have a nice day sir

Hi @user-ub4qp8up9e, Male pattern hair loss is progressive hair thinning, not hair shedding. It is normal to shed 50-100 hairs a day, and they do grow back. Pattern hair loss happens when the shed hair grows back thinner, and there is a delay in regrowth. Hey Doc, I'm a 16 y/o viewer and I have noticed recession at my temples. However, my family does not have a history of baldness, my parents, grandparents and relatives all have a full head of hair. What do you think could be the cause of this?

Hi @pixelfun4938, Sorry to hear about your problem. The genes for pattern hair loss can come from several generations from both sides of your family, so it is possible they are from a family member you’ve never even met. A scalp examination is needed to properly diagnose your condition. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hi@@pixelfun4938 , That's a possibility. I suggest looking at your pictures when you were younger for comparison. Male pattern hair loss doesn't manifest very often at your age. I hope this helps you.

Hi@@pixelfun4938, I meant younger as in around 14 when hair count is at its peak. You can tell at that age what your natural hairline is. I hope this clarifies things for you.

Hello doctor. I had my first DHI HT a year ago. 3600 Grafts. After the scabs came off, most of the hair was in place and fell out after about a month. 2 weeks ago I had the second DHI thickening HT (1600 grafts). This time, after the scabs came off, I noticed that most of the hair probably fell off right away along with the scabs. Is there any cause for concern?

You can refer to this video about it - kzread.info/dash/bejne/pXeTy7mjkrfOqNo.html If you have concerns about your hair transplant, you should follow up with your transplant surgeon who knows your scalp, and can examine it for issues, and they also know the details of how your transplant surgery was performed. I'm not aware of any of these details. I hope this helps you.
