We did this trip in January 2001 in 4 Landrovers and it should have been fun but for one guy. We were sleeping in the vehicle's too and one night on the northern Russian/Finnish border it was -35c. Thanks for sharing and good memories for me.

I remember driving a Visa (not a 2CV of course, but same motor) at - 20 C. It needed 20 km on the motorway at 100 - 120 km/h to get it warm inside.

Hi, For my old bones they would not been enough , so I fitted an "erbaspacher" cab heater which works when the engine is on or off! Cheers

The efficiency of the 2cv heater appears to be limited purely by how far and how hard you drive it. Gets quite cosy after a while.

Next time Murmansk or Nordcap maybe! We had a great trip, but only -22C, I think it was colder this year. Cheers Peter

La 2cv peut-elle démarrer malgré le froid glacial ? J'ai jamais pu testé le négatif extrême genre -20 ou -30°C :(

+Whanekill57 Hi, Set up with 123 Ignition with a Yellow Coil (Harley motor bike), Started every time even when the Regulator failed in Denmark and the battery was very low! Cheers Peter

I Wondered how adequate engine heat ventilation pipes to heat car interior at -22°C

Might have been a nice video if... Someone would say something to explain. Show the inside of the cars. Hold the camera device without shaking.
