Thank you X GAMES! Not only did you give athletes careers and take action sports to where it is now but you fueled an entire generation of kids to follow their passions. Regardless of what we’re doing now, the X GAMES literally helped raise a generation. Now we get to watch the next take it further than we ever imagined. 🤘

Bob Burnquist's final run in the 2001 Vert Finals, is still to this day, the single greatest thing I have ever seen on a skateboard. Bob is my all time favorite. Watching that man on a skateboard is pure magic.

Wish you didn't eliminate Inline competitions, as well as not highlighting them in a 25th recap. Taig Khris double backflip, and basically every run the Yasutoko brothers ever put on could have been a nice add to anniversary

I think the greatest thing about the X-Games today is that it dosn´t matter who you are or where you come from....it only matters that you share the same passion, the same inspiration or just enjoi the same feeling. So please keep it up for at least 1000 more years!!

I remember watching X-Games in the late 90s early 00s with my dad. He was a computer programmer who never stepped on a skateboard in his life.. but to my absolute delight, he was always excited and enthusiastic about seeing these beautiful moments with me.. We saw Tony Hawk's 900, Bob Burnquists 2001 miracle run, Travis Pastrana's double backflip... Im so grateful my dad shared these moments with me and now I have the memories to treasure. I miss him so much. He was a good father to me. To any fathers out there, please find something you and your kids can both love and celebrate together. 😁

This is one of the most nostalgic things I have ever seen. I remember watching x games and metal melisha etc in the late 90s and early 2000s as a young teenager. This sparked my love for 2 wheels and the rest is history!. Thanks for upload, genuinely loved this one. So many sick memories.

One of the reasons dave mirra got so good is the fact that he had mat Hoffman, and the other slightly older riders who really took him under their wing while at the same time treating him as one of the lads and pushing him to do the very best he could, and showing him love and friendship because they admired his talent, the 90s were the golden age of bmx, from 2000 onwards the vibe of bmx changed, for some reason the competitive side of the competition riders seemed to spread through all the companies and the riders, and instead of everyone pushing each other and helping one another, they started to play mind games and try and put people's riding style or ability down and almost looking down on the riders who were coming up. Glad I got to see it and be a part of it from 1983 onwards.

I remember back in the ln the mid 90s hearing about this thing called the x games, and they were actually behind the things I loved and did every single day, I was a skater in the 80s and in the late 80s I switched to bmx (freestyle, flatland Street) it was all one thing at the time, I found that the x games were on one of the five terrestrial TV stations we had in the UK back then. It was on twice a week, a one hour show of all the different events, well I programmed the VHS, put a tape in twice a week for six months and watched the bmx events and I found my heroes, dave mirra, matt Hoffman, Denis McCoy, Jay mirron, Simon tabron, Jamie bestwick etc etc, it was the best thing ever to watch dave mirra on the street course with my mates and then go out and ride and push each other to go further and get better, all because we were hyped at the things we watched the vert, street, and dirt bmx riders do, I had many many great years of riding bmx with friends. Rip golden boy.

Best reaction ever for me was to Mitchie's 1260.... "KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS!!!!!" - Also growing up watching x games, back in the day, like late 90s early 00's, you could miss a trick in a run and still podium. But that is part of the days gone by. Once you got your nyjah's and your yuto's and your shane oneills, etc, there is no room for error now. X games happening multiple times a year was the best change...I still watch replays from 2017, 18, 19 big air, park, street...god I love the x games.
