@@hankadelicflash It's the first event ever, and like they said in the interviews, the major sponsors cop'd out because it was their first event. High Risk/Little Reward. And we can see here that it wasn't so spectacular enough that this was the first time you've heard about it and live nearby :/

Same here. I grew up in the 80s and 90s as a vert/street inline skater, but just as a hobby. I wish they had this for inline skaters too. Honestly, even though I'm over 40, I'd compete in an inline version of this.

​@@XGames Put a massive qurterpipe at the end like you do with the 'Big Air' event, and have an easily breakable 'finish-line' paper-strip (like they have in track & field) raised a few feet above the coping stretching the width of the deck. First skater to air it out of the ramp, and break the finish line wins!!! Thats showmanship, dog! That clip would make it in to the next years x-games promo spots for sure.

Wow. I never realized how much work goes into building the skate parks/course. That little FYI video was amazing. If I would have seen that as a kid I would have been a carpenter.

Skateboarding is so much fun to watch when the skaters are clearly having fun. Tony is still a legend too. Skateboarding is also one of the only things ive ever seen give so much credit to the builders.

I love the different focus and disciplines in skateboarding represented here from the usual street or park course.

Seeing the construction of the course is definitely really cool to see and I hope that is in more of these because I love seeing it all come together and getting tested.

Awesome event! Awesome coverage! Loved Tony as commentator. Gary can be a little overbearing but having those low key guys like Bob B. or Tony Hawk just heightens the quality of the whole coverage by miles.

this has always been my favorite way to skate. just blasting through a pump track, flowing. love this. a trick comp for this track would be awesome too.
