Dude... this video hits me so deep. I picked up a board because of Ryan. I’ve always wanted to be like him. I’ve watched everything this man has done. Watching these videos now, I can see how much he has changed. Mentally and physically. Love this dude to the core.

I remember getting hate for saying he was my favorite but I never cared. I always thought it was so dumb for someone to call someone a sellout to make a comfortable living off doing something you love.

I get a lot of hate for saying he's still my favourite skater even up to this day. Ever since I first saw footage of him 12-13-14 years ago I knew that dude had some amazing control on the skateboard. His style is just so flawless. Every time I imagine a trick being done properly I always think of how Ryan would do it. Perfect push, perfect flick, perfect catch, always bolts. No unnecessary movements. It just looks right.

Started skating because of ryan. Always was and still is one of my favorite skaters.

Sheckler was thrown into stardom as a child. I respect what he’s done over time and I respect him as a person. You’re the man Ryan!

Ryan was and still is on of my favorite skaters, I remember when Life of Ryan first aired. I bought a pair of his pink and blue etnies. I was around 12, and I kick flipped this loading bay gap behind a new target first try completely on accident. That was the trick that got me respect from the older, local skaters. Still remember the feeling and thinking I want to be the next Sheckler lol.

I remember back in 2007 after the dew tour I met him,got his autograph,and took a picture with him at circuit city. He is a nice guy and it was crazy seeing him and meeting him after watching the life of Ryan. He didn’t ruin anything he inspired and he was such a nice person. I’m 24 now it was just so cool.

No one got to see Ryan as a person back then. It's only with hindsight (like this video) that you get a more complete picture.

Ryan sheckler is by far my favourite skater, his style is mint fresh 👌🏻 and yeah also, first skater i ever watched on yt and he got me into it after i saw his almost round 3 part. Thankyou sheckler ❤️

One of my favorite skateboarders. I bought and skated almost all his shoes. Also I had the chance to see him skating in Dominican Republic and it was amazing!

Sheckler has always been the man! A life that many will never experience. So glad that he is happy with himself at this point.

Ever since seeing his Almost part when I was 13, he's been my biggest idol in life - this documentation brought tears. Biggest dream to someday meet him in life. Really learned to never ever give up in life by following his journey and career.

So much respect for this guy! Its amazing to see and hear his path from someone thats only seen the media side its nice to see what he has had to go through and how much he has won at life

Growing up in a small community with little to no skate parks I always watched the x games or other events and growing up around the mid to late 2000s watching Ryan, P Rod, and Torey Pudwill I always looked up to them, those are the skaters I grew up with, and I just love and appreciate what they did for skateboarding and what they continue to do, mad love for Ryan!

I loved watching this phenom grow up! He was/is such a force and I absolutely LOVE his story! He was one of the most gorgeous rambunctious kids out there… Go RYAN!!!

ahhh yes I remember the show. Ryan was so whiny back then. Dude was getting paid to skate, lived in an upper class suburb by the beach in California, got chicks, got to travel, and still found something to cry about. lol (but this video helped me understand why he seemed unhappy) I always liked the way Ryan skated though and thought he was a great skater despite the way he portrayed himself on the show.

Was absolutely obsessed with his skating in the 2000s. Such a sick style still!

All the respect in the world. It takes a lot to continuously throw yourself down large obstacles year after year after year. Thanks for inspiring me to start skating. Slam city jam is what got me hooked.

His boards was my first one I ever bought he was an amazing skater and now thanks to him I’ve been skating for 5 years so I love him and feel bad for all the backlash and negativity he got from the skating community. I hope he knows people still look at him as an amazing skater

Sheckler is the dude that showed me skateboarding i thinks it's about ten years ago when i was about 6 years old my brother had a crush on a girl that skates and therefore was getting into skating and he showed me Ryan Sheckler and i just watched video's of him all the time like he was the only skater i watched.

You may love or hate him but this guy has written his name into the history of skateboarding with one of the biggest tricks ever done.

He ended up waaaay cooler than I thought he would

I hope ur alright Sheckler. Unfortunately he is still battling for his sobriety but I believe he will figure it out. I was with him in rehab about 4 months ago down in San Diego. I’m still sober and hope he is also!

Im 26 now but when i was in middle school Ryan was the skateboarding teenage superstar on the planet and he did get alot of hate but his style is the dopest u gotta respect his perseverance to be great
