I worked at Cici's for 3 years in high school, and can confirm there is no max amount of pizza someone can eat that would get them kicked out. Also, 22 slices is just over 2 medium pizzas, as the buffet pizzas are medium pies cut into 10 slices each. I'm with Travis.

They have this burger challenge at the restaurant here, eat two 2/3 lb burgers and get the third one free. And these thing have all the standard toppings and also an egg and stuff as well. Apparently one time a guy came in, ate the two burgers with fries, ate the free burger with fries, and then also had dessert. And I know thats not even considered a lot by some standards but just good god can you imagine eating that much? I can barely finish one of those things and this dude ate three!

I'm doing a project, and I was wondering if you could tell me the most pizza anyone's ever eaten at the buffet. W: like, in slices? M: yeah, just as far as you know. W: I have no idea. M: alright. Is there a limit? W: No. M: Okay, lemme write that down. Thank you! W: uh-huh. Bye. So, at least the nearest Cici's to me has no buffet limit.

Let's be real here, 22 slices is probably close to like 2 and 1/5 of full pies. Granted, that's a fair bit, but if he was really hungry, I bet knocking that out wouldn't be an issue. Then again, they might have tried to stop him from getting sick due to eating all that pie, as a regular person would probably get sick from eating two whole pies and then some within an hour.

@@purplelemondoesstuff3044 I've always eaten as much as I could. My entire immediate family are gluttonous. We eat far beyond our means. To the point where we are physically in pain and sick from food consumption. Have you ever eaten so much that you cant quench your thirst because anything beyond what your current capacity is would lead to vomiting or a ripped stomach? The amount of times I've been incredibly thirsty but unable to drink because of my current stomach contents is crazy. I eat. Eat. Eat. Some people just have extraordinary metabolisms and cannot keep on weight. I would also like to edit and point out that it goes beyond high metabolism. Some people cant digest properly and that leads to poor nutrient gain.

22 slices, 10 slices a pie, that's like, just over of 2 whole pizzas? I mean, it's a lot of pizza, but it's not a LOT of pizza. That's about twice what I end up eating and I've compared myself to others before out of self-consciousness before and I'm fairly on par. So they might, MIGHT have been losing money on him, but not so much it's worth storming his table and kicking out a customer. They'd make it up the next time a granny comes in and eats two slices, a fistful of salad, and one slice of the apple thing, like my parents, which is the original comparison that made me self-conscious enough to check how much other patrons are eating.

I can’t say for sure, though- the only times that I’ve ever been to a restaurant are with other people, so the conversation tends to go on for like an hour and a half after I finish my meal.

EDIT: wrote before they talked about basically this exact thing honestly the slice count isn't the most impressive thing here, it's the time this guy took. 22 slices in 45 minutes is 1 every 2 minutes, which may not seem like that little time, but keep in mind you have to keep up your pace all the way to slice 22. the hardest part of a stuff-your-face challenge is the ending because you have to keep eating at the same pace you started. not to mention this skinny guy probably did not account for the difficulty. he probably got kicked out not because he was being annoying, but because he was visibly in pain but kept eating for some reason.

As long as they didn't need the table, they shouldn't have made him leave, maybe just pay extra for the ingredient compensation.
