Just met the sweetest girl named *Tillowynn* ... I’m OBSESSED!

I’ve shared before that we named our son Caspian, but we gave him the middle name Drake which means dragon. So he’s our little ‘sea dragon’. We are huge fantasy nerds and wanted him to have a strong name that sounded whimsical. I think we did good! If we have a little girl we want to name her Sylvaine Fae.

I think Elowyn/Elowen fits this theme really nicely. It’s a Cornish name meaning elm tree. It’s not super popular right now, but it has the trendy el beginning sound, which I love.

My family has a lot of sets of muiltiples [5 on moms side, 3 on dads] so I'm always looking at combos and when you mentioned Fable it got me thinking of pairing it with Saga. My hubz is also Swedish and I have a friend named Saga and its so lovely especially with a Fable!

@@SJ_Strum no worries! I like the name Jacob, but I don't like it with the 'y' sound. You could always do a video on Italian names too. I don't have kids but I always wonder if I do, what I would choose living here. It has to be something that Italians can pronounce and also people back home can pronounce. Every expat here calls their kids Emma, Sofia, Luca or Matteo. And Italians seem to have a pool of about 30 names that they use, but I like to be different and wouldn't want to give my kid a name where the would be 5 others in the class with the same name.

Just had my surprise gender baby - a girl! We watched your videos almost every day through my pregnancy as we had a boy name picked (August) but had a feeling it was a girl haha. We ended up naming her Willa Clementine. I think it's such a great alternative of Willow, heaps less popular but still a classic, timeless name! and a perfect sibling name to match her older sister Rosie Florence :)

In South Africa, Katinka is an Afrikaans name and is quite popular among the older afrikaans generations and not so popular among the younger generations. Lately in the afrikaans culture it is very popular to mix the dad's name with the mom's name, so if the dad is André and the mom is Leah the daughter would be Leandré. Pretty cool I think! I love both Rosenwynn and Rosewynn. One of my top name-combos is Lumi Rosewynn Hope (snow white rose of hope). It might be a little cheesy, but I think that's why I love it!

When you brought up A Midsummer Night's Dream, I was reminded that I have always loved the name Lysander. Rosenwynn is a lovely name, I was looking at it thinking even Rosen was quite pretty, I googled it and it's a boys name meaning rose or burning bush, how pretty and dramatic, I love it! I also discovered recently the boys name, Sofus. A male version of Sophie meaning wisdom. Apparently it is popular in northern European countries!

So on the topic of locket, I thought of trinket. I don't know if it's stupid or not, but I think it's kinda sweet and when you said serenity it reminded me of Bliss. I don't know where I saw it, but it can be a girls name.

I've always liked the idea of Serendipity as a name? And as for a continuation of theme: Aladdin and Scheherazade, maybe not as instantly wearable as those on your list, but they've got that fairy tale connotation, and they're both so lovely.

Somehow I wasnt subscribed already? I've watched so many of your videos and thought I had. I even voted for this video too lol. Oh well subscribed now!

I really love Griffin, Evadne and Caspian. They have been a few of my favourite names for a while. Tristan is another name that has the same magical feel for me. It feels like the name of a knight. I think theres some legend around it, but I'm not actually familiar.

For Tristan, there is a love story linked to the name it's called Tristan & Iseult. And I think it is a medieval tale ^^

Definitely a favorite list for me. Arrow has been growing on me!. Love Willow, Fable, Caspian, Forrest (my #1 for a long time), Moon (clementine moon), Seraphina, Poet, Reverie. For a feminine poet I like Poema which I've never heard. Everdeen is a good long version for Ever too. Literally would use all of these if I could pick on my own.

I don't know where I heard it the first time, but I've loved the name Seraphina for years. It's so sweet and melodic. Enjoyed all the names on this list and hearing some that I didn't know before 😊 Another name I recently discovered and really like is Philomena and means something like lover of strength 💚

Serena and Sirena are sort of similar. I know both look the same but the first is pronounced "su-reen-uh" and it means "calm" or "peaceful." The second is pronounced "see-ren-a" and it's the Spanish word for mermaid❤

I would love to see a video on Hispanic baby names or bilingual baby names that work well for a spanish/English speaking household!

My favourite from this list is Poet! Have you ever done/would you consider doing a list of "artsy" names like that?

Yes I love it so much! I've been thinking of the name Painter! (not pregnant though). I think it would really fit in with names like hunter and archer, but also the last name as a first name thing. Not to mention how artsy it sounds.

@@sarahbourne1872 I'm not pregnant either, but I do have a 12 month old daughter. Her name is Lyric.Allure 🥰. I consider Lyric an "artsy" name. While most people might think of music when they hear the name Lyric, I think of poetry.

I had a close friend called “aurora seraphine” and I always thought she had the prettiest name ever

I'm a woman named Skye and I love my name :) This spelling in particular is wonderful as it's the spelling of the Isle of Skye off Scotland, which is also a magical place.

Just found your channel and really love your name choices! I’m 30 weeks in to our first baby and we never thought naming a child would be this hard! Willow is a favourite for our little girls middle name, but having such a lot of trouble with her first name! We are after a Muslim/Anglo name as I’m White/British and daddy is Muslim/British... my family are mixed russian/native quileute and my brother is named Jacopo after my mother’s brother and father. one of my middles in Fable and my elder brother is Caspian Oberon! love that these names made it onto the list! ❤️

I’m from Sweden and love out norse names, don’t know of You have a video with Norse names?:) I have 3 girls and the 2 youngest has typical Norse names:) my eldest daughter name is Eloise, and then my 2 youngest are names Liv and Idun, which are from Norse mythology. Idun was a Norse godess and I absolutely love that name!😍
