What a great list of names - I love how you always come up with such unusual name lists and provide so much background detail on each name. I never miss a Baby Name Monday - absolutely love them! How about a Celtic baby name list? There are some GORGEOUS Celtic names that I reckon you'd love - Saoirse, Caoimhe, Mhairi etc...

Oslac - reminded me Kıpçak when I first heard haha - really handsome name Alodia - as a lover of Elodie I think Alodia is gorgeous Domino - it's Latin then Greek - I think might be brought by Romans to the Britannia Doretta - better than Dorothea and Dorothy for me Holt - I don't know why but my phone associated Holt with Renfrew ? He knows things I don't know Kipp - Kip or Kıp (as in Kıpçak - has the ae sound in Michael) means lucky in Turkish so I love Kipp a lot

My week now only starts after baby name monday ! I absolutely loved Evelina's homemade loom (I don't know how to say in english :/ is it loom ?) with pretty cherry blossoms on it (my favorite) and your girl's name is BEAUTIFUL. I saw one of those from a brazilian youtuber, it has "Anne Liv" on it (her babygirl's name) and I loved it. Love homemade things. About the names...how beautiful is Oslac ? And Holt ? Such strong beautiful names. Also Doretta is now on my list, think I mentioned how much I love female names ending with "A", also sounds vintage so yeah...perfect ! I love the tv shows you mentioned, I'm obsessed with medieval things so I hád a blast with this vídeo. And I have a question ! How traditional is the name Ethel there in England ? Cause every english/medieval tv show I watch has a Aethel(something) and I just think is beautiful. Kisses from Brazil, SJ xx

I love this list. I'm from Kingston, which is widely said to be where England began. The 7 Saxon Kings were crowned on the Coronation stone still present in the town today. I therefore absolutely love the idea of incorporating a proper Anglo-Saxon name somewhere in my childs name to reference where I am from. I really love Aelswith and Alodia for a middle name. The boys names are a bit more of a struggle; I though Holt was great, but I'm not sure it fits my style. I was leaning towards Kipp but then you mentioned the background so Kipp is now out the window :)

Alodia is very pretty, and Eadlin is cute. I don't think I could use Domino haha! I like Sheply but Shep sounds like a dog name to me lol. Torr is very strong sounding, and more usable than Thor, I like it.

Maybe you like my name: Aliena for one of your lists. It is quite rare i haven't heard it anywhere and i get a lot of compliments for it. It is actually from the book pillars of the eart - ken follet. So it would fit into the "ends in a-list" or also into a literary-list. Hope you like it😊

Oh my goodness, that embroidered loom is STUNNING! I love it so much. The only name that I had heard of is Joss, which I love short for Joscelin on a boy (and am adding it back on to my list, actually!). Did you receive my little video clip..? Sorry it is so late! xx

Wow great rare names SJ! Adding a few to my list. I think Aelswith and Elswyth was my favorite too. I like Sheply and Torr although I prefer Torin!

Any advice to couples who have totally different tastes in names, particularly girl names. My husband loves 90s type girls names and I like names.... Well pretty much everything on this list I love and he would hate, with exception to the name Holt - he might like Holt. Help a sister out!?

Our dog is called 'Kip' and when he's naughty we lengthen it to 'Kipton', which sounds a bit surname-as-first-name :) He also goes by 'Kippy'

Subscribed and would love to be entered. Anglo Saxons is my favourite history topic to teach at primary school so this has definitely given me something to think about for baby number 2! Thank you.

Your baby name videos are very interesting I always watch to see if you mention the name Quin (I have a 7 month old baby boy named Quin) and tonight you did although it was just a quick nod. You said that it is cool and popular at the minute and I just wondered where you got this from. As I thought it was quite high up on the baby boy list. I have a son called Noah so when choosing Quin's name I wanted something different xx
