If you want to meet your goal faster: Just my advice: #1. Get rid of the pets. At some point you will run into a vet bill that could be in the thousands. #2. Get a prepaid android phone. They cost $50 and your monthly bill for unlimited calls and text will be around $35. #3. Stop saving cash in a book. Put the cash in a savings account. CIT bank does 4.6% interest per month. #4 Get out of that state. In my area they are selling houses for $50k that are 2,000 sq ft two story house in a nice area on 1 acre that might need a little work. It just depends on what you want in life and how do you want to get there and what sacrifices you are willing to make.

Also get your kid out of the horse show junk. Horses are for rich people and cowboys. Unless she is so good that she is getting sponsored. If she likes horses so much look into having her volunteer somewhere with them.
