Just picked one up. Touring XT. Love it
Great review! But it’s a 2.4, not 2.5 😉
I picked up at 24' Touring XT in July. it's a wagon.... not an SUV. Subaru includes the roof racks when they provide the height of the vehicle. It's about 4 inches shorter than my old Volvo XC60.

I just bought a used 2023 outback touring XT. I wanted a black one with black interior. However, when I got to the dealer they had a white one with the brown interior and I have to admit it looked really good. Unfortunately, they sold it from under me, by the time I went home and got my wife. I found another white one with a black interior at another dealer and bought that one.
WHAT I really like is SUBARU has THE best AWD system- a TRUE AWD-- and are KNOWN for that.. they do hold up well overall-- NOW-- they went through a period where they didn't but that was years ago. SO- I LIKE this one.. in another color. I love the black- but just am not able to do all the cleaning necessary to keep it shiny like that all the time.. and it would get HOT here..
Deciding between this, touring Xt with black interior or Onyx Xt. Except for seat covering, are the seats the same and provide the same comfort level?
I have this model. Love it. It’s actually a lifted wagon, not an SUV.

When is the 2025 coming out?
2.5l turbo never heared about it. Must be brand new.
Just bought a 2024 Outback for my wife. She wanted the Wilderness version, which is hilarious, since she'll never take it in mud or snow. But its a great car, so I'm thinking of trading in my Benz on a touring edition. But something that confuses me about it is that its steering wheel seem to only have manual telescoping & tilt.

Everything is about cost. There are several things that I wish the 2023 I just bought could have as an option. But the realization is that it would push it into a price range, that would make other higher end vehicles, more competitive to it. Just my two cents.

It is manual steering column adjustment. Very few cars have the power adjustments.
Is it possible to get this one without the flippin sun roof? That's just a leak waiting to happen.. Otherwise..... I'd lift it 1.5 inches- and put wildpeaks or nitto ridge grapplers on it..

I think you have to get a lower trim level. The problem with that, is if you want the upgraded navigation, it comes with the sunroof. I have no need for our sunroof and it does add quite a bit of cost. But it is what it is.
Please convince Subaru the Touring needs a HUD. Oh, and a bigger sunroof would be great too…

I Love that black -- except for the hard to keep clean part- and being HOT in summer.. but not crazy about the CVT either.. they WON"T LAST. especially TURBO one..

The CVTs have a cooler and are actually pretty reliable. Just change the fluid every 60k or less.
