I have a 2020 Forester Sport. While orange isn't my favorite color, I do love the "sporty" trim it has. I think this 2025 trim is disgusting and actually the opposite of "sporty". And when is Subaru going to put a useful tow capacity on these????

Listen man Last week I took this car for a test drive ( first time ever on a Subaru forester) and this car is amazing!!! After a few tests on other cars from different brands.. This car is very comfortable!

Thanks for the info.. I am semi-taller (about 6' 2") and outward visibility is very important to me since good visibility is needed for safe driving and just driving enjoyment.. After doing some research, I found that the Subaru Forester with its more boxy taller design, and bigger windows would be a choice for great visibility in all directions.. Yet Subaru put all those safety devices right at the top upper middle part of the windshield that block the driver's (and passengers) own vision out of a good part of the windshield. Since all those safety devices block my own vision out of the windshield, is it possible to have those safety devices/cameras removed??. I don't need anything blocking my own vision, I drive just fine (and safer) if I can just see out of the entire windshield..

I just bought a 2024 Subaru Forester Wilderness. Having a hellava time finding out how to clean and care for. Can’t seem to be a straight answer, just how it’s good for the cows. Subaru…step up and offer a care video for this wonderful cow saving interior. I guess I am not the target customer for Subaru.

Let’s start showing some love to the base models. Every channel love to show off and tout the sport, premium, limited etc..etc.. But let’s show some love to the base models. You know, the ones that out sell all the other models 2/3-1. Really wish dealerships and sales people would stop upselling to the customer. I understand that’s part of their job (and their commission) but I wanna see what the base models look like and their offerings.
the base model forester is horrific. the infotainment split screen, physical key, no moonroof, etc WAY better off spending an extra $1-$2K on a baseline premium

Ford Explorer wants its nose back. Tacky fake bronze trim. Shiny black plastic. No full size spare. Mandatory Sunroof. Derivative model name in large letters on the back (copy every. other. brand.). Dashboard has broken out in hives. Way too much cladding.

Subaru dealer in California told me to replace my suspension charging me for 1800 dollars. I went to 2 mechanics and they lift the car for me to see the under chassis and NOTHING was wrong. Lesson: Don't trust some dealerships; they want to rip you off.
Not a fan of that infotainment system, looks like a cheap knock off from a Volvo system. Not sure why they like doing the tablet style display instead of a wider landscape display
Is there a 12v power socket in the glove box? There used to be a socket under the radio and in the center console, but now I only see one and wonder if the 2nd was replaced by the wireless charger or relocated to the glove box like the Outback?

This screen is a chokepoint to many of the vehicles features. The screen breaks from overheat or other, those features are gone.
I’m really confused because my Subaru app looks like that, but the STARLINK app does not exist in my App Store. I still have the app icon in my car for both starlink, and my Subaru but the starlink does not work. The “my Subaru” app is what I use for remote start.
The original Subaru Starlink App was discontinued in March 2023 and replaced with the My Subaru App, so the Starlink features are in this app. But, Subaru still has this Starlink app visible in cars for some reason, so hopefully an update in the future will remove the app bcuz it's just extra clutter on the screen.
