I have not been very well in January I have had this respiratory infection (not Covid) I am on antibiotics at the moment and I’m off sick from work, I do not make a good patient as I’m usually so busy and always on the go and I miss my patients and work colleagues. The hospital at home service is doing really well and I feel so pleased that we have been able to keep people out of hospital and at home with their loved ones. Your goals are great, sorry I have sent you 3 replies but I was writing than as you were chatting. Keep going with your vlogs Ellie, you are fantastic and lovely person. ❤

Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that you're unwell 😔 Hopefully the antibiotics kick in and you start feeling better soon. It's so frustrating when you can't keep busy, but you are doing the right thing in looking after yourself and protecting your patients, so they don't get sick too! Hi Ellie, I don’t tend to have goals set for the year but that is because my Dad died when I was quite young and he always advised me to grab that day and don’t put anything off. There are positives and negatives with this and I have made lots of mistakes but I have learned from my mistakes.

Ohh I am so sorry to hear this Maria. It sounds like your Dad was full of great advice! Life is too short to put things off. I struggle to live in the moment and have to remind myself that we never know how long we've got and it's important to try and make the most of each and every day. Of course there are always going to be ups and downs but I try as best I can to enjoy the journey (sometimes easier said than done haha). ❤❤

I'm sorry that things haven't gone according to plan for you, Ellie! What a stressful and exhausting past several months you've had! The housing market is so tough. The only reason I didn't lose my home in the wake of my divorce after a year of battling with the bank was because one of my brothers cosigned on the mortgage for me, but he's going to be removing his name this summer, so I'm going to find out if I'll still be losing the house after all. You have some great goals here - I especially think that DNFing more books and spending more time outdoors are great ideas for little quality of life improvements! I should follow your example of getting out more and enjoying nature and fresh air (though the air is a little TOO fresh this time of year in Canada!).

Hi Josh, Thanks for watching and commenting. It certainly has been exhausting! It'll be nice to have some stability back for a while. Gosh, how stressful 😔 I really hope you keep the house. Thanks, I'm feeling good about my goals. Let's hope I can keep the motivation to implement these changes! Getting outside and doing some exercise always has such a positive impact on my wellbeing and mental health, but finding the drive to get up and out is tough. Hopefully I can get into a good routine this year. Haha yes it's been pretty fresh here too. We've had snow this week ❄🥶 But I'm sure it's much worse where you are. I hope you're managing to keep warm!

Evening Ellie, I'm so sorry your move became so complicated, moving house is stressful even when it goes well let alone when things fall through. I truly hope everything works out for you in the long run. I love your vlogs, you always film in such a nice way and they are so fun and relaxing to watch. If you go to the Peak District the stepping stones at Dovedale and a hill called Mam Tor are beautiful, I love it there. I haven't got many goals, I set my goodreads challenge to 52 books, I want to read more fantasy and my big goal is to try and start a KZread channel. Thank you for giving us this wonderful bit of the internet to hang out at, I hope you hit 1k soon, you really deserve it.

I'm trying to keep a positive outlook and am hoping this will work out better for us in the end! I'm really pleased to hear that you enjoy the vlogs. I'm so sorry you had such a stressful year. At least you had a beautiful wedding. I think you made the right decision to stay in Norfolk for a while. I hope you have an amazing time on your honeymoon. Would love to see a vlog of your travels. Ive become much better at dnfing books it just takes time to get used to it. I'm a mood reader too and don't make lists. I do belong to a couple of book clubs but will only read the book if I really want to. I'm reading sucker punch by laurel k hamilton at the moment and thoroughly enjoying it. I believe it's the 26th or 27th book in a series. She is one of my favourite authors. Thanks for a brilliant video and take care.😊❤

I'm actually feeling quite positive about how things have gone. I think it will work out better for us in the long term if we take the house off the market, do it up ourselves and put it back up for sale later in the year. Thank you, we are both so excited for our honeymoon. I plan to film while we are out there. Not sure if I'll post on this channel or maybe make a separate travel / lifestyle channel... to be confirmed! Mood reading is definitely the way to go! I love the idea of a book club but I don't know of any local ones. I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your current read 😄❤

@bibbidibobbidibooks a separate channel would be good for your lifestyle. I belong to online book clubs like author Amy McCaws young adult book club. You get to vote for a book and if it's one I don't like I don't read it. I need to find someone to do buddy reads with. A lot of my friends don't read an awful lot due to busy lives and not being interested in the same books I like. I'm on page 257 of the book I'm reading. It's 609 pages long. I'm hoping to finish it today if possible as I'm going to my sons for a week tomorrow and I want to take the next two books in the series.😍

I know things didn't work out, but keep in mind that 4 hours away from family is much closer than the 37 hour drive I am away from my family at this point. Definitely crazy perspective on the size of England compared to the US. We are definitely staying put in our first home due to insane housing prices as well.

I'm sorry the move has fallen through! The market is so awful at the minute! I think your goals are brilliant. We definitely shouldn't be scared to DNF! There are so many books out there and so little time!!!
