Juliey Marillier writes beautiful historical fantasy. I recommend starting with Daughter of the Forrest (but please do check out content warnings because it does have some potentially triggering content). Thanks for watching and commenting 🥰

I just started Daughter of the Forest this week. It's so good. The writing is beautiful in it. Ill have to pick up more from her after seeing your haul 😊

What an amazing haul. Daughter of the forest is a great book so very interested in anything she writes. Some beautiful covers. Our hideous progeny sounds good im currently starting Mary a story of Mary shelley. The other day someone mentioned the books by R A Salvatore who writes d and d inspired themes. I immediately thought of you! Hope life is good and great video Ellie. Would like to hear your views on our hideous progeny.😊

Great Video! Duncton Wood is a childhood favorite. Similar in a way to Watership Down. I am interested in reading about some mermaid horror, apparently there are some real gems out there. The Our Hideous Progeny cover is awesome, and it does sound interesting.

I enjoyed Into the Drowning Deep which is a mermaid horror. Have you tried that one? I've also read The Salt Grows Heavy, but couldn't get on with the writing. Do you have any other recommendations? 🧜‍♀️
