I was half expecting you to troll us with an American accent and say "this is my natural voice". If you have time for one more question: How would you go about trying to cut out filler words like ah and um while talking. I'm not a VA, but I'm...um...bad for it

I'm not a voice actor, but I do stage work as an amateur. For me it was about pacing my thoughts and speech. I notice I use more filler words when I'm trying to speak fast, or I dont know exactly what I'm looking to say. Pauses are your friend. Lastly, dont get frustrated with your efforts and stop. It takes a while to build the habits you want, so give yourself the space to fail a bit before getting comfortable with it. Hope that helps a bit! Cheers!!
