the tv show lucifer also does a good job of depicting hell it is of your own creation, you relive your greatest guilt, forver you are your own jailor, your own torturer, your own devil

The hilarious and ironic part is, if you can overcome that guilt you can go to heaven, but almost nobody ever does because they are forever making the same choices that make them feel the guilt

Yep and the demons are just secondary characters or background aesthetic and of course there's a way out of hell to heaven it's just so impossible for people that it's never been done

I would love to hear your take on Lucifer's first speech in paradise lost. You'd nail it, methinks. And if you've already done so, i will go watch the entirety. There's some incredible monologues in Milton's work.

Had me so enraptured i was shocked when it looped

The irony that Lucifer didn’t realize this was the exact reason his own father gave him the silent treatment always struck me as great writing. You should do more of his speeches.

​@@AleTitanno, because all he wanted was his father's attention. Nothing was punishing him more than the lack of attention. That's why we see the lifestyle he has.
