Glad you are enjoying it, and could make a co.parison with your Versys 300. It was the Kawasaki that attracted me to the 300-400cc sector. Been really happy with my KTM

Nice video. Yes had a few bikes in my time last one was a VFR800. But wanted something smaller a newer so back in 2022 i bought a 2021 version. Ohh wow yes i loved the VFR but dont miss the speed at all as well UK roads and pot holes and Cameras all over lol. So yes i had a issues with quick shifter but got told by KTM it learns on how you use it lol. But still comes up now and again. But now on 4300 miles soon be 2nd service. But this bike makes me smile all the time. Also quick ??? them Mirrors do they feet right on dont need any for threads.

Running in aside.. I've had a ktm rc390 and currently have a husqvarna vitpilen 401...don't worry too much about a gentle running in, my dealer told me to Use them as normal using all the revs, never leave them at a steady throttle.... Get on and enjoy it 👍👍

As the miles increased, I did take it past 6.5k a couple of times 😉 Did vary the revs and can't wait to have some fun after the first service!

They seem like nice little bikes. ❤

Hi Rikky Interesting to hear ! not so much the vibes but that it goes a bit ,this is the only KTM I can honestly say I quite like . So how does it perform against your Kawasaki ?.There does seem to be few wrinkles on this one what concerns me with the smaller capacity bikes is the lack of umff to get you past and gone quickly obviously not on the B roads / backroads but inevitably there will be a time when carriageway travel is necessary along with faster A roads . Yet I do think smaller lighter bikes can be more fun not that I want to travel at lightspeed all the time or anything😉 .Good one cheers 👌👍

AnD the plan to replace the 1250, another one of something different? When you sort out what you want to do we your 1250 bits and pieces would be interested as inspired by your experience have bought a similar model to yours.

I have had one of these for the past twelve months and can say it’s brilliant for the money. I say that on the basis that I’m very lucky to have quite a few bikes, all new, from a GS to a Beta Alp. These are great fun, I don’t suffer any real vibes, I think the Continental tyres are a bit hard, I have softened the front and I fitted a Raid Garage screen which actually does work well in keeping wind turbulence down. I can highly recommend, great bike with brilliant handling.

First fit the. FuelX piggy back Free up the air intake DNA Lose the stock can Antivibe rubber mounted bars Bar weights inside bar or out Change the bars to wider Reduce 1 tooth on the rear Dont use the 14 front toorh opp Transforms rhe bike into what it ahould have been at point of sale very awesome not slow at all. 100000kms in your need to settle into this one and tinker!
