Great car with great features at this price range but back seat is little bit low tough there is a lots of head room which must be adjusted accordingly for better view especially for people below 5.5’ 😊

Seems to be decent vehicle but the price on top end is a little steep. Another challenge I believe is with the premium of 70k for an AMT, is little too high. Besides everything else, there is the big question of how safe is this; and seeing Hyundai's track record, it doesn't provide much confidence.

Waiting on the turbo punch . Im sure Tata will respond to these competitors

1.2 U2 diesel with BS6 norms equipped has done wonders for this EXTER. still looks so good but will remain underpowered due to lazy 1.2 NA petrol

This is actually a Wagon R competitor. Everything is designed with that car in mind. Why compare it to a psuedo SUV like the Punch?

Looking very cool in the blue colour. Priced equally/little less with top end nios amt is a sweet spot. Would have liked a better B to C pillar design. Probably in the next iteration.

A well rounded package. It may makes a dent in the sales of i10 nios, i20 and venue like how punch affected tiago, altroz and nexon...

A lot of ppl will pick this over the i10 nios, Baleno, Punch and maybe even Venue. Built-in dash cam and tpms is great at this price point. Baleno at 9.8L exshowroom for top end AMT doesn't offer either.

Not just rival for Punch, its also a rival for Kiger which also falls in the same price category.

Seeem to be an excellent product looking at the price point , if Hyundai has got driving dynamics are right than a big winner on hands.

Would definitely buy EXTER than Punch because of Refined 1.2 NA 4 Cylinder Petrol engine & Best of After-Sales Services. The ideal City Car with comfortable Ingress-Egress & loads of Indian liked features. Punch offers noisy 3 Cylinder engine which roars on acceleration. EXTER will certainly dent the sales of NIOS & VENUE as well. Apart from Punch, Ignis, WagonR, Magnite-Kiger & C3 for sure.

I'd still go with Tata Punch because of 5 star safety , also after BS6 Ph2 there's a little more upgraded engine in Tata cars and the Punch has torque low down in rpm range (3250) as compared to Exter(4000 rpm)...I also saw DDS Ravi's video where Exter's body was almost touching the tyre when 3 passengers were seated in the back seat....Not a good sign...!!!

Punch is a vehicle without punch , no power, no finish inside. Hyundai is 100 percent better in finish and power of driving, driven both and can say for sure Exter tops

Not sure on how tough a competition Exter will be to punch or magnite as the dimensions are smaller than those cars plus it gets 15 inch alloys whereas punch and magnite get a 16 inch alloys on the top end

Hyundai well understood Indian market and consumer, Dump huge number of features but compromise on safety, Hyundai and Maruti Invests on things which are visible and appealing while ignores things which are hidden, strength of body shell for instance.

I dont think exter can sustain the punch from tata. But it can easily flip the venue, i 20, sonnet and fronx. Punch is the only mini suv with suv credentials like 5 star safety rating strength and traction pro mode.

Good looking car but lacks power.. 1.4 turbo should b given on top end model.. I still prefer C3 Turbo over this 😂

Good alternative to i10 & NIOS. Hyundai is known for weight saving & light build and bumpy suspension. TATA Punch would be far better when it comes to safety, build quality and suspension. Most of Alexa, dashcam kind electronics are gimmicky and can be added in aftermarket.

That high window line is an absolute deal breaker for me. The low down rear end and the high window line is due to the fact that Hyundai just put a tall hat on the i10 platform.

Top end should have got turbo charged engine with iMT.

It resembles ioniq than defender.

Just open the hood and look at the additional frames they have welded on to the existing grand i10 chassis. Shoddy work by Hyundai , just shows that they brought this one hastily to counter the punch, after all this is just the grand with diff body shell

This looks more boxy like WagonR ... That is so suited for ladies and ofcourse it's a big seller too ... How would this compare to WagonR especially from the point of commanding view from inside the car ... And how practical this is for both the genders !???

i10 nios with a new skin. Rear seat too low. Back rest should be 60:40. Sun roof should be optional. A pillar rake too much and will obstruct view on sharp right hand bends. Wish they had got the Casper instead. That was a lovely little mini SUV.

There is a Sunroof but not an Arm Rest! 😣

Looks a little bit over designed. Punch looks more organic and balanced.Also looks a little too tall.
