2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i: Start Up, Exhaust, Test Drive, Walkaround POV and Review

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

👋 In todays video we take a look at the all new and redesigned 2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i! This is a massive and luxurious SUV from BMW and the largest SUV that they offer! This is not the highest trim level, but for the xDrive40i, it is very loaded!
This 2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i finished off in gray has a great look to it! With all of the black accents and the all new 23'' wheels, it really gives it that ultra luxurious feel! The exterior design is proportional for the size, especially when you compare it to the smaller BMW X5, it's a bit stretched but looks great! The front end is completely new with the split style to the headlight design along with the rest of the bumper! The only other main exterior difference is the rear end with the tail light design which is slightly different!
The interior of this 2023 BMX X7 is really where you want to be! And the gauge cluster and infotainment system is now one large screen with tons of technology! The shifter is also a new design along with the new key fob! It's a full three row SUV totaling 6 seats for passengers and there are amenities for every seat in this vehicle! The third row passengers have AC controls, a sunroof, cup holders and plenty of space and windows for a lot of light to pass through! The second row captain chairs make it even more comfortable to cruise around and lounge out and the front seats even have massaging seats! Talk about luxury! It's also a very comfortable vehicle to drive, extremely quite on the road and offers a ton of technology!
The large infotainment screen and the digital gauge cluster provide everything that you could possibly want! And with this not being the M model with the larger engine, it still gets up and moves and handles its weight well! It does feature M sport options like the steering wheel, brakes, wheels and M sport exhaust! For the size it can take turns and feels solid doing that with the adaptive suspension! This is also a very capable vehicle as far as towing goes, so if you are in the market for a large SUV because you need the space, but you also need it for towing and you want luxury....the 2023 BMW X7 is a great option with a few different trim levels depending on what you want!!

The BMW X7 LCI is a lot uglier than before. The rear turn signals are supposed to light up in yellow, not red!

I know you have a problem with the colors lol, but I love red…yellow looks outdated..

@@BrosFOURRSpeed WHAT?! Aw, come on! Yellow is a lot safer when turning and I wish both North American and European tail light laws align together!

@@BrosFOURRSpeed Because the way they put their turn signals on! The rear brake lights and turn signals on the BMW X7 LCI in Europe are separate. The turn signals are on top lighting up in yellow while the parking lights at the bottom doubles up as brake lights. Rear yellow turn signals are safer and a lot easier to distinguish between both of them. I'm from Malaysia and I have seen a lot of buses, cars and trucks doing this. You wanna know the differences? @@BrosFOURRSpeed It's much easier differentiate a yellow indicator from red especially in traffic and especially with all those people constantly tapping on the brake lights. Europe has it right, red is for break/stop, yellow to indicate that you're intending to turn or merge etc.

I think the headlights are too much of a departure from past traditional BMW setups. $100K for a 6 cylinder might be a little overpriced. I understand BMW is moving to monthly subscriptions for several options like heated seats and steering wheels. If this is true, it is an abomination for BMW which has always offered its lineup as a complete ownership experience. Perhaps I missed it, but non-defeatable stop/start and engine deactivation when coasting or decelerating are other features which do nothing for me. Nouveau owners, for whom this is their first BMW acquisition, are simply not familiar with BMW's time honored tradition of offering the ultimate driving machine. Treating the experience as diluted by cheap, worthless econocar theatrics may work for Genesis or Infiniti owners. These shallow label seekers have never developed a palate for high performance driving; especially that which has always catered to the autobahn style of travel. Top speed on BMWs are limited to 155 mph by agreement with other manufacturers. For the safety nannies, who don't know of Bob Bondurant, Dan Gurney and Mark Donahue, this may as well be 55 mph.

If you buy a BMW and it has those factory options, no subscription necessary. Too many people didn’t read that fine print so that’s not accurate. As far the rest of what you said, no idea how to respond..but the car you want and enjoy and that’s it! I love bmws and what they have, but not everyone would. Also this SUV with a top speed of 155 is honestly even too high. It’s an suv, not a high speed coupe.

100k for a 6 cylinder is fine when you look at the competitors. Mercedes has 6 cylinder engines also available in the GLS at 100k same with Land Rover. But BMWs make some of the best 6 cylinder engines out there, they are very smooth.

100K for a 6-cylinder is pretty much the norm. Lexus, Mercedes, Land Rover all do it. BMW's I6 and Mercedes' I6 is just as quick as the base Escalade V8 in testing. Why would anyone need to go a racing school to drive a 5000lb SUV?
