My family owns one a xDrive40i, great car. I can agree with Paul that the 23s can ruin the ride comfort a bit, But it all depends on the road conditions from where you live. However they look better than all the other rims (imo). Other than that, quiet, smooth, comfortable great family suv. One downside is the digital climate controls, but you can get used to them.

Camera work in your videos is just amazing. Great review!

Hey Paul, thanks for the review. This X7 is impressive, I agree with you on the 23s I think they are not ideal, but they look great. I'm a BMW guy, however I think the GLS is also a fantastic car and a comparison of the two would be great. Next, you need to bring us the BMW i7 and 7 Series.

I have the 2023 x7m50i 22inch wheels for a good two years now. Already incurred two huge repair cost , because the vehicle ran over pothole twice. Had to change two of my new left side tires twice had to completely change and buy new two suspension. Suspension on X7 is defective and wrongly Engineered. Got stranded on the middle of the highway twice. Even though the problems , I have to say that I absolutely love the engine, mainly the Technology of User interface. Road Assistant driving is the 2nd best in the business after Tesla. The interior space amazing and spacious for driver and passengers

I don’t understand why they keep putting larger and larger wheels. The 22inch wheel and tyre got damaged after my bmw treaded a small pod hole at high speed.

What I’d like to know is how fast was the Ranger still travelling at 36.49 m that’s the most overlooked number in brake tests

I have a 2019 X7 30d M pack. Love it. Not loving the new shape to be honest.

Interesting that you speak of some dimensions in inches. Not sure if you know we went to decimal in 1966. It might be helpful if you also did it in fathoms,cubits, yards, perches and furlongs to make it clearer.

Hi Paul Yes I have bought one of these 40D with Msport pro and Connesiuer package. Tyres are 22inch. To be honest with you I found the rude extremely comfortable and quiet. Mindful that BMW'S are Ultimate Driving Machines.

in new BMWs the way to get around the auto start stop is leave the car set in sport + or leaving the transmission in S then the engine won't shut off at low speed

The first batch of F150 vehicles officially imported by Ford Australia, are now in Australia, and getting converted to RHD. Customer deliveries are meant to begin as of approx August 2023.

I'm always shocked by the prices, I live in a bubble 😅.

hopefully you can get the car back. bmw should realise the popularity of your channel and your reputation so shouldn't be a problem.

Nup. Isn’t on the X7 xDrive40d at all.

Trouble with those wheels Paul,is that they are run flats as you know,so those wheels are a much harsher ride.keep the awesome work up 🎉🎉🎉🎉

The 23in tyres are not runflats. Imagine the ride if they were.

Great job as usual Paul. The plastic bracket supporting the left side of the LCD screen is such an eye sore and a complete afterthought. It looks horrible for a $160 grand plus SUV.

Hi Paul I sold 2021 BMW X7 last year, this LCI x7 only use one word to describe. RIDICULOUS overpriced. The resale will give you a HEART ATTACK as well.

That's very annoying that they removed the stop/start button! I Googled - aside from coding it, Sports Mode apparently also disables it.

Where's the off-road test of the X7?

Why all the car reviewers just don’t care about the central control wheel?! Paul did not even mention that it was possible to access the climate control using the wheel while driving! Which in essence is so much more convenient and safer than tryin to reach out the screen?!!! Could you please explain to me the factual disadvantage of the control wheel when your are driving 30 mph in Sidney traffic please?!!

I wouldn’t dial the rotary to adjust the temp. I have to pay extra attention to read where the cursor is.

@@EastWood2004 how much attention does it take you to remain nicely seated and glance over to the left as you pull the cursor down once and tthen twice to the left. Instead you will reach, try to hit the right button then click click click until you reach your desired temperature all the while reaching out to something directly left of your sight.

It's ironic that the defining feature of the original iDrive system is now virtually ignored by testers because "touchscreen". I for one am glad it still exists. (And don't mention voice control as an option because it NEVER EVER works consistently.)

I'm in FNQ. I like this new iteration of the X7, but unfortunately no ventilated seats, not even as an option.. A definite No-no... especially once you've enjoyed it..!! I was interested in the 60i..!! I guess I prefer the GV80..!!

Why didn't you review the same thing like you did with Toyota SUVs?

How come you can't see that the natural competition for the X7 are Audi Q7, MB GL* and the new Mazda CX90

It's not big enough you get more room from a telluride or Honda pilot

$95k for a Mazda! I’m sure it’s a nice car but damn that’s a step up in price. They could’ve gone up by 1/2 a step until people got used to the idea of Mazda being a “premium” brand. For that money I’d prefer a Model Y LR.

As a chauffeur, I have to mount my phone - I wish cars had a nice big dedicated spot on the dash for a phone - it's tedious finding the best mount every time I replace my car.

The X5 is still the best BMW SUV…..yes the X7 is huge with extra seats but NAH.

I couldn't buy a car that you can't switch the stop/start off . It's a pain in the arse when you forget to turn it off.

I hate these all good - nothing bad reviews. Apparently those who searched up the reviews are interested in the car so everyone is happy, the viewers, the channel and the manufacturer. I don't blame the channel though because most car reviews are like this now. Sad.
