👋. In todays review we check out the 2024 Lexus LC500! This is the pinnacle (affordable) sportscar from Lexus if you don't include the Lexus LFA! The LC500 has a naturally aspirated V8 that sounds very good for this car! This is a very unique sportscar with it's distinctive exterior styling to really set it apart! The Lexus LC500 is a vehicle that I certainly don't see that often, it's not quiet as popular for it's price tag as some exotic vehicles. But one thing you will get with the Lexus LC500 is reliability!
The Lexus LC500 is pretty simple as far as the technology goes, but it's a very performance oriented sportscar that is one that can be daily driven as well!
The 2024 Lexus LC500 might be the last model year with this powerplant, so this could be a sportscar that goes up in value as companies are going away from the naturally aspirated engines.
The 2024 Lexus LC500 has very nice materials on the interior, but it's not any different or special compared to the rest of the Lexus lineup. Which is good and bad. For the exterior looks, the interior doesn't match, meaning it's pulled from the lowest cost Lexus models, so a lot of shared parts. That means the Lexus LC500 can cost less, but it would be nice to see more special features aside from the paddle shifters which is different. Not to hate on this car, because it was a blast to drive!
The power is great, it's a smooth driving car, quiet and a car you can drive everyday! It has plenty of space for everyday items and would be a great addition for any car enthusiast! This is the baby Lexus LFA since those cost significantly more!

How? Other than it's design and reliability it has nothing on the competition. Design is priority in this class for sure, but you need more than reliability to back that up. What's underrated about it?

This car is modern day collectable, and it will have so much value, love and respect from 10 to 15 years in future that it will stand out than all the EVs on the road, bcz design is timeless, and sound of v8 is pure enjoyment, it will outshines than any other EVs on the road

nice and honest review 👏👏👏👏. as a person who knows this car very well , the sport and sport+ selections in the car changes effectively and clearly the suspensions (get harder) and steering feel and even the exhaust note . Of course one should drive it everyday to feel it but it definitely feels different in those modes.

Personally I love the M4 Comp! This is definitely a different type of car but still offers so much fun factor! Can always test drive the LC and see if it could be a potential replacement for you down the road.
This car has no right to be this sexy... Need this in my forever garage... Please please please drop a manual version before it's discontinued forever actually nevermind. That certain will never depreciate and id like mine used😂

Tough one! The GTR will offer more drama and power. But this has a more refined interior with a classic V8. Depends if you want more performance or more refinement. Both are fun!

That’s a tough choice. If I could take the LC 500 interior and place it into the Mercedes Benz AMG body- that would be a real winner! The CLE is exquisite, powerful and spacious!

Completely different characters. Can't go wrong with either one but if you're gonna be taking a passenger or wife then this is better. The gtr will knock your fillings out
While I love the external appearance of this car, the more I look at and investigate the Mercedes coupe & convertible classes- the less impressed I am with the LC 500. Lexus needs to ‘up its game’ for 2025 and this does not mean a hybrid model- which the LC 500 already has and which is a sheer failure. More storage is needed! Four wheel drive would be nice also. Better low end acceleration is needed too !! Changeable interior color trim lighting is also needed. One thing the LC 500 excels is its beautiful and well executed interior design and materials.

What LC500 has a hybrid model? This is strictly an NA V8, no hybrid available... But a lot of people like the simplicity. I couldn't own a Mercedes because of how complicated they are. Too much going on.

The car was fully warmed up, always rev it last once the cars been driven and warmed up, but yea I misspoke on that..

@@BrosFOURRSpeed sorry man starting at 5:50 the red line is sitting at around 5500 after the exhaust clip is why I brought that up, and not passed the 7k mark like at 13:53. RCF, GSF, and IS500 are the same for their warm up cycles. Great review on the LC.

@@2URLex that’s why editing is nice! This video wasn’t filmed in that order, exhaust revs are done last and then placed into the video where it makes sense! But yeah, I mentioned the revs limiter by accident and not the true red line.

The only thing I really don't like are the radiation vest seats. The front seats literally look like someone about to get an xray the way the red leather wraps around the headrest

@BrosFOURRSpeed the seats don't resemble an xray, what I'm saying is like when you go to the dentist or hospital and have to get xrays they put this big bulky lead vest on you. I'm saying the red portion of the seats look like that lead vest (to protect your body from xrays)

Umm...the front seats automatically move forward when you use the lever on the rear of the seats. And they will stop moving backwards when they detect an obstruction. But, yeah, there's no rear leg room.

Mystery solved: You can hear the seat beeping as you were moving it. It's not supposed to do that as it indicates the seat memory needs to be reset. If you had tried to set the memory, you would have noticed it didn't work either. Once reset, it would have moved by itself. Coincidentally, we had this problem with the seat memory on our LS when we first got it. The dealer reset it and it now works properly.

Love the design, but go sit in one. For such a massive car, it feels like a Miata/Honda S2000 inside. Extremely cramped and tight, especially for a grand tourer.
