I got 11 including 11 baitcasters and 1 shimano twin power from digitaka in 2 years. Fast delivery ever, about 2-5 days from Japan. Only problem is Digitaka is that the addiction of buying more reels from them because of the lowest price

I have the Stella 1000 on a light action Suppressor. So much fun with redfish and flounder, and whatever else that bites.

He is telling the absolute truth on buying JDM reels from Digitaka. I picked up JDM zillion and metanium for a little more than a US metanium. Ordered on a Sunday, reels in hand that Wednesday. Awesome.

I had never heard of Digitaka. Glad I found your video. I will be buying a Stella FK soon in the 2500 size but they only have the C2500SHG, C2500SXG, C2500S, and the 2500S. Unfortunate because I do not want a shallow spoil model.

I have the xgfk 5000. Loved the design. But still no luck yet in hooking up a big red or jack to really feel the smoothness of the drag. Maybe someday ... Goodluck! See you out there!

That is indeed an awesome reel. I've got mine in April, a 2500 HG spec (deep spool). Lucky me..haha. I think your shallow spool spec is about as good as the deep spool model. Tried loading Ø 0.20mm braided line but can't hold 150 metres. About only 110m or so.

Do you uave a Diawa Exist on the way too? It would be cool to see the service that comes with the Exist to be done with the Steez and for Shimano to do the same for their flagships.

I got the 2500 just a few days before you posted this video. They were sold out very next day after I ordered. They are hard to find.

Hello Air, How are you?? I have the 4000 XG reel. I had an issue with the drag/cap. I was hard to turn and seemed to be very uneven for drag smoothness. When i have my drag tightened pretty tight, i notice the spool slides up. I have a Very OLD shimano Spyrex and when I tighten that drag cap, the spool doesnt move. Can you see if yours does that? I contacted Shimano and i am waiting for their response. thanks a lot. appreciate it.

Just found out about Digitaka week ago yes , I also Asian Portal but hmm prices lower here indeed . Anyway, I was hoping you give update review on stella, especially since I been reading a lot about veil problems by Japanese ytubers , wow I'm ordering exist from digitaka I think. Was it a bad initial batch ? Hit or miss and initial failures or design issues? Why wobbly, ticking noises?

What the difference between the Stella c2500s,c2500sxg? How do they compare to the fk? I’m looking for a top notch reel for Texas rig hover rig shakeyhead and DropShot

What’s the difference from the 2500 HG and the 2500 FK?

The extra washers are spool shims, Not drag washers. It is to adjust the hight of the spool, in case the line-lay is off.

Do you put any backing when you spooled up your Stella? Or just straight braided line?

I have a Daiwa Luvias Airity LT2000S-H you can launch lure into orbit! The first time I cast a little too hard all my line went out!

If this was as light as the Exist I would prefer it but I'll stick with my Certate for now as it does phenomenally already. Either way I love both of Daiwa's and Shimano's high end offerings 🙂

Hi. I still have 2 brand new 18 Stella FJ, 2 brand new 18 Exist LT and 2 brand new Certate LT sitting on my shelf. All in 2500XH and 3000HX. They all are very smooth and great tolerance, but not 100% tight when holding the rotor and rocking the handle. Very minimal clunk in the gears. Will this new Stella FK erase that play completely? Same goes for the new 22 Exist LT? I love them high end reels but wouldn't mind replacing this older models for the brand new FK and 22 Exist if that little play is removed completely. Thank you for the great review and website provided.

They will always have a tiny amount of play in the handle due to the design of the gears. Both my certate lt 5000 and stella fj 2500 both have a tiny bit of handle play.

I’m in love with my 4000fk ,so much that I ended up putting my sw on the shelf

I have both and so far I’m just planning to use the sw for offshore fishing since it has bigger sizes to target bigger fish,the fk mechanically has more upgrades but it’s small,kind of like an inshore fishing reel,if you like casting lot of lures I’d go with the fk both reel are at the top of their game

I can see how kayak fishing allows you to make higher end gear purchases. It cost me $100 in fuel and $40 in bait to go out yesterday in my boat. Kayak fishing there is nothing but gas in the truck and maybe a little in bait. I don't think I will be buying a Stella xg at $580. Being a boat owner I have too many other expenses. It's just another down side to being a boat owner. 😑

I can’t make my mind up I want the 2500 but hate the size 3000 is not much bigger but I have seen no reviews or any much talk on it lots on the 2500 🤦

$580+ dollars for a reel I'm gonna use in a Kayak. Naw, don't think so. Thank you for the video though. I'm sure they will sell as many as they can make. I've already got too many reels and rods on the bottom of the ocean.
