    Hey Josh, thanks for the great video! I have a question regarding follow through with back tension shots. I understand everyone is different, but I've noticed some people have very short follow throughs (often traveling a couple inches only), and some have long ones where their hand goes way behind their head. Some may say they shoot back tension, but is it a true back tension shot if you don't follow through behind your head/body? Thanks for your time.

    Man that looked rough! I shot a twin turbo with a 450 grain arrow at 28 inches and 29 and didn’t think the draw was as bad as that looked. Fps were better as well. Im seeing 10fps faster than my Ventum 30 pro both at 29.5 80 let off 70lbs. Ventum is noticeably smoother throughout but not by much. That looked like you had to rip it back, Im far from a pro but the draw on the new twin turbo is smoother on the one I shoot…enjoy your content very much can’t wait to see what the new bow reviews bring!

    @@chasemclarnan7698 It depends, if you like the shorter 30ata then they are both decent. I own a ventum 30 pro and the rx7ultra. I have shot the rx7 alot and it shoots like my ventum in pretty much every way(so I didn’t buy the literal carbon copy) The carbon is a little lighter but both in the 30ata range shoot the same both are great and put out good numbers as far as speed and dead in hand. If you wanted a slightly lighter bow go rx7 all day as it shoots the same but shooting a carbon is a different experience and it costs alot more for it. If you want a bow that’s cheaper and a little heavier go with the aluminum its still going to be a very nice shooter and easier on the wallet.(shorter draw length shooters can appreciate the shorter string angle, my 29.5-30 draw finds a slightly taller bow fits me better, but I still love how fast and accurate my ventum pro 30 can be even at the longer draw length) I enjoy shooting my rx7ultra more though, but it is alot slower sadly. Cheers, and good luck with the bow choices more Hoyts coming out soon as well fyi!

    I have the twin turbo an the draw is smoother than most bows that speed. Way better than pse omen an Bowtech 350. It is a little stiff in the back in but nothing crazy smooth up until the last inch or so. Very similar to my rx5 but just not as smooth all the way threw! Very accurate bow tho sighting it in I broke 4 fletchings an a couple nocks! That’s a good thing people!

    Hoyt strings are notorious for being too fat, and then using fatter center serving material, makes for a very tight-fitting nock. You'd think by now, they would have figured out how to build the perfect bow string diameter for the perfect nock fit. Hell, I've been making strings with 452X and .021" center serving for over 6 years now, and even I have figured it out!

    I’d like to see a video of a bow repeatedly being shot on a thermal imaging device I’ve been wondering if limbs and strings develop any heat from being shot. I don’t think it’d be very much but I wonder. Or a speed test of a hot bow vs a cold bow vs moderate temperature bow.

  • @rockninkjunkie1
    @rockninkjunkie12 жыл бұрын

    That looks pretty rough compared to the other speed bows I've seen this year, especially for not being as fast (as SR350 at least) Question about the thud tho...When you crank it down you gain brace height, would the difference in string stop distance from turning down cause that thud?

  • @elimarshbank5704

    Call it splitting hairs, and not worth arguing over, but Sr350's 336 avg is faster than TT's 332 average...for $600 less and a smoother (that's debatable) draw. The ventum pro 33 would be the way to go with Hoyt imo. If I was going to spend 1800+ it would definitely be on the rx7 ultra.

    The sr350 shot 10fps slower at first, only after sending him new cams did it compare to the Hoyt. That’s all good when u own a archery shop but let’s be honest, any average person would have never gotten new cams. Not hating, bow tech makes cool stuff but year after year there always seems to be mistakes by them.

  • @jacobelliottthornbury2820

    The TT from Hoyt’s draw cycle really isn’t very bad. It’s noticeable at the top of the mod (30”) where he has the bow set. Anything under that and it continues to get smoother as you aren’t into the power stroke section of the cam as much. Hope this input helps. Go shoot them all at your local shop and figure out what feels best to you as that’s what matters.

    @@eddiebelanger8228 there are other videos of the 350 shooting mid to high 330s. He got a dud I believe. That’s why bowtech wanted it back to inspect. Or, they shot it at 72.5 like it came to jj. He turned it down to 70, I kinda think they got there readings at maxed out. Either way, I shot both bows and the bowtech was night and day easier draw and quieter.

    No its goes to peak weight and stops on that after you get to back wall it has let off from peak weight before you hit the backwall. So the peak weight has already been registered on the scale before you hit the back wall.

Hoyt make decent bow best I have but fo 1900 dollars I think Hoyt tip the price out of balance for that price you could have a decent rifle and practice a bit out off a mile away!is like Lamborghini you have dosh 💰 you can have it but you drive with speed limit

    Do they make a better scale than that LCA HS3? Since the accuracy specs aren't published, that leads me to question how accurate it is vs what a multi million archery company might use. For example, the LCA Pro Grain Scale @$40, they make $15 scales that are more accurate. Not trying to nit pick or make excuses for these companies that lie, just honestly curious.

    I suspect one of the ways the manufacturers cheat on the speed is with a loose nock fit. That being said - I would find it helpful if your speed tests also included a more realistic hunting weight arrow (450 to 550gr) rather than just recreating the IBO test.
