For anyone out there like me wondering what cadence they might be holding on the Echobike, I clocked Medeiros at 74 Seconds to finish (0:40 - 1:54) That's roughly 1 calorie every 1.85 seconds so about a 85+ cadence. Sagers was roughly 88+. Used Heatonminded Echo Bike Calorie Conversion table.
I’m a new fan of the sport. How do they split the athletes into the two groups? Seems like the second is a lot better.

Spot on. Its like two leagues for each event. The first heat is athletes which are lower on the leaderboard. Heats can change if you earn more points and make it into the top 10.

@@shaneroymitchell thanks! But for the first event, how do they do it? Is it randomized?

@@xnotmarcox I think it was based on the Games placements

@@xnotmarcox like Asia said, based on Games placements as that is the most recent ranking event. I am yet to see a scenario where a top end athlete misses the games and then goes to the invitational. If that happens, I'm stumped, that leaves us with the question whether should they be in the top heat given their obvious ability.
