Just spent the weekend driving around Devon and Cornwall in one of these. ( unfortunately not mine) It is absolutely fantastic! Looks, sounds and drives amazing. More performance than you can ever really use. People were stopping to look at it when it was parked up and letting me out at junctions. Un marked police car just gave me a slow down flash of his blues at 90+ on the m5! Everybody loves a jag!

Nice.. I have a 2007 Jagggggg XK Convertible, Winter Gold, 1 of 97, every opp. 41000 miles. I'm 6' 3" 235 lbs. more than enough room. My Smile, from ear to era, love the ride. have had 4 other sports cars, this by far is the best .. I hope they change up the F - type to include the back seat because right now its to small for any kind of a road trip of more than over night. Have done 2 weeks in our XK, with all the gear for two people. You can't do that in the F - type.

Always appreciate it when car reviewers mention whether or not golf bags will fit!

Love my 2016 R F type!! Not much difference that 2021...used models are great bargains!😀❤

My dad love jaguar motor cars ever since he was a young guy he owned the brand even after he retired he was given from a will my cousin played drums for Wilson Pickett he was willed the car British racing green xj6 everybody thought it was a rollsroyce bacause they never saw a premium car in his town he enjoyed the car he could drive it anywhere he is 79 now and have given to a guy who trust cars and have completely restored the car I just wish he would have another jaguar but I have contracted the covid so my dream for him has been at a stan still I have the covid19 and it has diminished my health but my wish and dreams keep on going in my mind I just hope for my speedy recovery but having diabetes also type 2 has been a challenge but I will keep upbeat but life is good I'm just obtomistic love the review the jaguar is an ultimate exotic this car is on my wish list take care peace

They don’t make them as they used too. A 2017 Jaguar F-Type R was the loudest most obnoxious car you could buy stock. It crackled and popper but now they removed that. It still very fast but I really enjoyed driving a car that sounded tuned from the factory.

Jaguars are nice. I can remember Colin Kaepernick driving one when he played in the NFL. These cars seem like they are smooth rides.

Edysin Simon no manual and they screwed up the new head lights. That’s what not to like. For the price point, it’s pretty down market. Especially the interior.

The interior is actually pretty luxurious in my opinion. The tan interior (shown here) is actually pretty luxurious and it’s right on par with that of most luxury sports cars. So, I think Jaguar did a really good job with the interior quality of the refreshed f type. You’ve got this beautiful tan leather on the seats and on the dashboard along with a really nice alcanttara headliner. So I think that this f type lives up to it’s price point in my opinion.

My favourite sports car at the moment, the supercharged engine is unique among the European rivals

We’re looking in my town for Jaguar. I found a 2021 R black with red interior 2 weeks ago for 115,000 and we waited just to think about it. Went back last week it’s still there and they jacked the price up on it. Now 125,260 to be exact. Obviously they must not want to sell it. We said forget it. Greedy lol. In Fort Wayne Indiana.

*As a 'FYI' for folks who might not know, the key fob (see timepoint **2:30**) also contains within it a spare physical key should the electrical system become non-functional. Specifically, that chrome-esque "JAGUAR" aspect of the fob slides upwards and detaches - the metal spare key is within the remaining black part of the fob.*

I drive a Jag XF-S with the 5.0 V-8. The sounds is great. Love Jags and this R may wind up in my garage.

I like the previous years headlights.

I watch a lot of car reviews and they all seem to have so much fun driving these jags, personally I'd really like to get 6 cylinder XE in all black, so cool in my opinion.

its missing the flat bottom steering wheel. makes getting in and out easier . it is an option. i have it on my F-Type

If you are about 7:20 nurburgring laps and 10.8 quarter miles get the porsche, I'd take this all day

Absolutely adore this vehicle. I test drove this and a 2020 LC 500. IMO the Lexus has that classic and clean NA V8 sound which, to my ears, is more pleasing. It is more elegant. This thing is a brute. That ain't a bad thing!

The ZL1 is faster when it gets good traction or a track environment. The Jag is probably faster in 9 out of 10 in real world scenarios on the street.The Jag will also not scare you to death when you dip in the power like the ZL1 probably does. My C7 Z06 would make my ass pucker every time I hammered it. That didn't sound right lol.

What a shame what they did to the exhaust, it may sound good compared to most cars, but it sounds nothing like the pre facelift, and even then compared to 14-17. When you actually had gunshots stock, and would scare people.

The last real car to be produced by Jaguar.

Amazing review and I like the subtle changes they did. A spaceship? I'd be gladly to buy a spaceship. The exhaust is still great but I like the older SVR exhaust with the louder crackles and pops. You do some of the most amazing reviews.

Carbon ceramic brake's, & engine from the new Ford GT500 would make it sought after.

@@johntechwriter I'd say the 400 Sport is the best model...coupe version, imo. EDIT: Mind you, I have one of those in rhodium silver so I _might_ be a bit biased. 😁

Is this V8 sounding different from the older models? It seems that the crackles and pops are way more subdued. Looking forward to see and hear the v6 as well. Is there going to be a different sound there too?

There's no V6 anymore. F TYPE is now available with 5.0 V8 or 2.0 I4. Also despite rumors of BMW V8 it isn't BMW it's the Jaguar designed and built AJ133 5 0 V8 supercharged

Still like the original headlights and taillights better

I can tell you from personal experience, they're absolutely nothing alike and incomparable. The F-Type is a symphony of this brutal, commanding roar. It's so finely tuned, that it really is the novelty that makes this car what it is. The SVR is even more vicious, as if that were even possible. The stock, base Corvette exhausts have always been an area of disappointment, the C7 is no exception.

I liked the old version better ☹️

Footnote: Pls focus on what is behind the seat. How much room is there? Can you lean the front sezts back? How far? What can you put in the space behind the seat? Does it fold down to the trunk area? THIS IS WHAT A WOMAN WANTS TO ALSO KNOW.

having a key fob for a car in 2020 is like having a physical keyboard on your phone to send messages... and then you wonder why tesla is valued so much. Traded in an f-type 2019 for a model 3 performance and oh boy I have to say it might have been my best car decision ever! I need to admit that the climate control in the F-type is better than in tesla model 3.

Agreed, the depreciation in UK for these is serous. You can get a 2014 (R) car for around £33-35k now.

The existing smooth ZF 8 speed shifts in 200 milliseconds, why must you go with a dual clutch. The ZF is virtually bullet proof, great performer, and efficient. Why would anyone want to change just so you could say you had a dual clutch like others. It's just not needed.

No it doesn't and the ZF is much slower shifting regardless of people standing up for it. I have had several iterations of both and it's dual clutch for me whenever available. The ZF is competent and I make exceptions for it.

Theirs no more SVR for 2021 anymore. The R is the new version of the SVR.
