  Wait, what does the base High Country at $65K have that this doesn’t? I can only really see the brown leather, and the electric side steps… does the High Country come with the 6.2L V8 as standard perhaps?

  I just checked, and no, the $65K base High Country doesn’t come with the 6.2, it comes with the 5.3… worse yet, the side steps are a $1.5K option, not included in the $65K, same as the technology package that this has, so apples to apples, it’d be $63K for this LTZ va $66.5K for the High Country. Are there any other differences, or do you really pay $3.5K for the different leather color and High Country badging? (Not counting exterior esthetic differences like bumper being chromed vs painted, because honestly, that’s just a matter of preference IMO, they both look great)

  Your comparing apples to oranges Lexus has reliability land rover or defender. Whatever you wanna call it will break down consistently poor reliability garbage vehicle won’t hold its value. your comparing a unit body against a ladder frame of course body will ride better.   The real comparison Ben is if you put both on a lift and measure the size and robustness of all the components under the grenadier versus the Wrangler and you’d see where the excess money is going to. It’s a shame you didn’t bring it up because people are literally bitching about the back up camera, and clearly don’t even know that the little tiny Dana 44s on the jeep are smaller than the Carrero axles on the grenadier same with axle shafts, frame, etc. the grenadier is much heavier duty.

  Well for starters ford has crank bearings and turbos that wont grenade out of it before the warranty is up.

  For what trucks cost today....I am all about reliabilty and longevity. The Ram with the etorque sounds good when it new but how will it work with a 100000 miles on it. I think the GMC 6.2 naturally aspirated motor is the way to go in my opinion...less pronlems to go wtong.

  Grand Highlander provides better build quality with better materials, extra space to make the 3rd row more usable, and it’s generally worse in mpg on most trims. I dunno man, it’s still overpriced for what you get.

  For a little over 60k you can get a bronco wild track…4 auto, 2h, front locker, nicer interior, bash plates, 35s, more options, fox shocks, removeable top, 6 cylinder. Pricing is off on this.
