While Acura impresses with its exterior design, the interior falls short, appearing disappointingly cheap, more akin to a budget Chevy offering. As a devoted Acura and Honda enthusiast, I struggle to justify a $70,000 price tag for such quality. In contrast, the Cadillac Lyric exudes a sense of value and luxury that aligns better with its cost. Personally, I would opt for the Cadillac in this scenario. Thumbs down 👎!!!!

It was bad enough for the Honda to use a GM interior and parts, this is a complete joke for them to do this with Acura.

It’s a Chevy Traverse, that identifies as an Acura ZDX….🤔🤨🤦🏽‍♂️💯💯💯

I like Acura although I feel like they def could’ve done better with the ZDX, it’s not a bad car for sure and it’s a good start but I know they will make better EVs that are more competitive in the future

The other observation about the cost of building one: The chassis, body, and the interior bits and pieces are the same. They can be used on a gas powered or electrically powered car. An electric motor is not more exorbitant to build than a piston motor.....so this all comes down to the battery. Right?

To toggle between one pedal drive modes (off, normal, max) there’s a shortcut button in the upper left corner of the touchscreen.

Looking at it, I would guess it would be worth more like $55k. For 70k might as well go for Acura MDX type S

The new 2025 Acura MDX cost the same. The ZDX is electric and has way more horsepower.

@@termainefields3342 yea with half the range and even worse than that if you live north not to mention the insurance cost on electric cars are ridiculous most importantly reliability is very questionable

An EV future requires a free and voluntary choice to get buy it, a battery that weighs less, a battery that charges in the same time it takes to fill a tank, a battery that is not as affected by temperature, and a battery that costs significantly less.

Can't speak for the ZDX, but most electric cars have this option, even Hyundai.

Why didn’t they make it so that the trunk mat folds? Accessing the subtrunk looks super inconvenient. I’m really disappointed that Honda is using a GM car. I would’ve bought it over a Tesla if it wasn’t based on a GM car.

What the heck is remote start starting? A fan? Drop a V8 in it and chop the price $20,000 and I'm interested.

Using hand control for regen is interesting, but one more part to wear out. Based on number of badges on back of car their philosophy is opposite of Tesla’s “the best part is no part” mantra

Why would Acura team up with a reductive automaker such as GM? Sorry, it is a down grade. I would never buy a GM product again...absolute garbage. I would not even buy a Cadillac or Corvette...they just don't match Japanese engineering. Acura...please STOP sullying your brand image by joining forces with GM SMH.
