Everyone knocks that this is a rebadged Chevy but people don’t understand GM’s Ultim platform is top of the class. Hence why 8 other brands want in on the patent. Also, Honda Motors said they would not partner with GM if it was going to compromise reliability. Honda even did their own in house testing.

Drove one yesterday and exceeded expectations all round. Very nice job by Acura and quality as expected by Honda. Good handling, brakes and performance, bit expensive but worth it.

Why this over the lyriq? The only distinguishing factor seems to be design and the dealership experience. I like that they get gm’s supercruise. Good review, you always do a great job covering the features and overall feel.

ZDX has a rear wiper, HUD and B&O sound sutem which the Lyriq does not.

As many have said here, the black roof color/design reminds me of a Hearse.

Great if you can afford one. The cargo area not being flat and the rear seats flying forward is alarming. What if kids push the button do they get crushed?

You dont "need" AWD in Colorado, a good set of winter tires and driving for the conditions is all you really need.

Giving Tesla’s fiascos with mass layoffs especially towards the supercharger department I don’t think it’s wise to invest in an EV until the government creates a true standard that’s not owned by any one company.

That side profile, especially the rear quarter, just reminds me of a hearse. And I say that not as a compliment. They should have dumped that stupid chrome strip and how it drops down in a way that doesn’t match the actual bodywork. I get that they were forced to deal with GM’s platform and basic bodywork, but it just isn’t a good look.

Terrible gm blazer...! Not acura quality.. acura should had put a hybrid in there mdx. So to get better ⛽️ and lower the price by $20,000. Then they are affordable for normal people.. not for rich and wealthy people only!

Not sure what you mean? The 6.2L Tahoe RST has less hp and torque at a similar weight, and will lose every time. I dislike the Acura interior, but the GM power train underneath is solid. The Blazer EV SS will be even faster than this if speed and acceleration are your thing, and GM did a way better job on their interiors.

W answer, having extra power above 300hp or equivalent is not too useful on the street and the experience in the V8 Tahoe is better.

@@TheMW2informer Agree with the horsepower not being useful, hard disagree on the rest. Having driven both the 2024 Tahoe and Blazer EV.

Another disappointing ZDX. Does not compete well. Heavy, middling charge speed, and kind of ugly like most Acuras. I’ve owned Honda and Acura going back to my 1989 CRX Si, 1989 Accord, and 1994 Acura Integra. Those cars were great. This is not.

Give it a minute, the GM gremlins will reveal themselves shortly 🤭

Underneath it’s still just a GM car with a battery that takes forever to charge. Hard to believe Honda would put their body on this.

By the way the chevy version actually it's a whole lot better looking. Another foster child for Honda, like the passport, like the saturn view,. Shame on Acura , and I am a Acura owner and fan.
