2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec - Is It WORTH EVERY Penny?

The Acura ZDX is all-new for 2024. Built in partnership with General Motors, the ZDX utilizes the Ultium EV platform found in the Cadillac Lyriq. The sporty EV is Acura's first-ever EV and promises a sporty Type S variant. The ZDX is an electric car that seats 5 passengers and is only available as a 4-door wagon. Competitors include the Chevy Blazer EV, Kia EV9, Cadillac Lyriq, Riven R1S, Tesla Model X, and Mercedes EQE.
Two models are offered: A-Spec and Type S. Two drivetrains are available: A 102.0-kWh battery pack powers a single-motor variant and produces 340 horsepower, and a dual-motor variant that produces 500 horsepower in the Type S trim. Rear-wheel drive is standard with all-wheel drive being optional. Pricing ranges from $60,000 to $70,000.

Looks awesome, just wish hybrid engine versions were offered
The exterior has a modern and slightly edgy design which I like. The interior is severely lacking though for that price tag. Brushing aside the fact that I don’t support EV’s, this is a huge no.

I have a 2022 MDX A Spec that has a sticker around $61k and the interior is SIGNIFICANTLY nicer than this. Guess I’m getting a Cadillac LYRIQ instead.
Out of all due respect, I wish it had the Acura chime and not the GM chime. Subaru was able to use their own chime with the Toyota partnership of their EV Solterra, and BRZ.

For $60K to $70K, I would much rather have the Genesis Electrified GV70 or even the Cadillac Lyriq, which I know is closely related to the ZDX. I think the interior design and the quality in both the Genesis and Cadillac is MUCH more upscale than the ZDX
Very 'GM like. As a matter of fact, some of the components are the same as in my company leased vehicle - GMC Yukon.
