I have a 2020, I really enjoy it when people stop me and say how pretty it is. Mine is all red. The coffee holder. Put a small cup in the back and tall cup in the front cup. There is nothing weird about it. Sturdy, pretty and enough power. It has great resale value.

I just bought the 2021. That “ridiculous spoiler” is one of the reasons why I bought it. I love the door handle. The middle headrest comes out and the side ones fold down so you have great view out the back. The mirrors project lights onto the ground that say Toyota CHR. This car has self healing paint and a sensor for monitoring the sun. You can buy different tail lights with LED.

I got bought a white 2020 base model not the xle. Living in Buffalo NY a General Motors town. I get so many double takes when driving this stylish car. One thing I’ve noticed about this car its a little loud when punching the gas petal. But how I countered that by using the manual shift function. So far I’m very pleased with this car. Plus having had Toyotas in the pass they are very dependable. Unlike the Chevy Equinox I traded in. & oh I had the dealer install a remote starte

I own this car. 2019 version. For the front cup holder, you can put any drink size their. It’s a deep cup holder to compensate for the low top.

About that front cup holder. I own a 2020 XLE. You can fit a couple 44oz cup from the gas station in that thing. It is very deep.

Old comment but in case you haven't found why yet or someone else reads this and wonders, that is the electric parking brake engaging and releasing.

They still have not added the lights to the cup holders? Shame - I added lights to mine and there are tabs where the lights should be.

Cool little ride, but Toyota messed up by not offering it with AWD.

@Clif Bradley I have the 184hp model in the UK - it's a hybrid system with a brand new 'dynamic force' 2.0L engine. and it's a sweet *pleasure* to drive! 0-60 in under 8 seconds ! Better suspension & handling too! 50% of the time you're just running on the batteries, even up to 75mph ! It's lovely & quiet! Google 'CHR Orange Edition' Hopefully you'll get it over there with AWD. It's 🔥

This car was design for economical transportation only Dont ask for turbo,4 wheel drive,and for non sense paddle shifter

If you wanna look how really ‘’weird cars” look check out Doug de mure’s channel. C-HR is a pretty normal car.

I wish the seats are leather, sunroof, Apple car play & small fridge would be nice. 😀 cute car tho.

If I could find some light sporty wheels I would toss them on with some 255's.

The difference is mainly in the infotainment system. The 2020 model comes with Android Auto and Apple Carplay.

I'm surprised US citizens want a manual transmission. Over in London, I have just bought the top spec 'Orange Edition' - with brand new 2.0L hybrid system 184hp. My 1st automatic transmission car! But a manual transmission would definitely be a welcome addition over here. Unfortunately They only have it in Australia & some other markets

Nowadays people wants power + 4wd+ hybrid for just $20k , LoL 😂 Toyota makes sure this particular model stays below $26k to attract younger buyers. If Toyota adds all those perks, the cost will cross over $30k and it will match the price of Rav4, highlander and 4Runner. That won’t sell

Move to London...! I have the 'Orange Edition' with the brand new 'dynamic force' 2.0L engine hybrid system. 184hp, 54mpg, can last a very long time - 50% of the time you're just running on the electric batteries, not the engine - makes the ride so quiet, even upto 75mph! But more importantly it adds lifespan to the engine. It also has improved suspension & handling. German-inspired Tail lights. Black Roof. Black 18" rims! and In 2 years time, it'll be $19 lol... It's just 🔥 to drive !!!

Had to install an Arduino with a CANBUS hat, get a program installed and wire the setup to the C-HR network gateway. Got a On-Off-On switch installed and wired to the canbus hat. No stupid menu, just flip the switch between modes. Other than that, it is a fun vehicle to drive. Working on upgrading to all LED lights.

My Mom bought a 2020 CHR and last winter Toyota had a recall on the block heater. They asked people to come in so service can disconnect the block heat. It was -35 C when they told people in Winnipeg to stop using the block heater. Today Toyota has not replaced the block heater and winter is coming. I am done with Toyota and am telling people Toyota has nose dived in quality and are not fixing warranty issues in an appropriate time frame. I will never buy Toyota. Bought a new 2022 Mazda CX 5 GT Sport and I am very happy with it. Toyota is terrible.
