Hey Toyota Jeff. I purchased a 2021 Toyota C-HR LE. I have a question about automatic door locks on my vehicle. Doesn’t it have auto lock when I reach a certain speed? The settings does not show lock by speed. This is very unsafe. I thought my doors auto locked once I turned on my car and got into Drive. Suddenly at a red light a homeless guy walked up to the passenger side and was able to open my passenger front door asking for money. If I knew Toyota didn’t care to keep their customers safe in one of their vehicles, then I would have went with a Ford or Honda. Very disappointed that Toyota didn’t include this safety feature even in their base model.

Three main disappointments why we didn't get the CHR: Small passenger windows, Not Available in Hybrid, and High Door Handle placements (we have 2 small boys and they can't reach them). Looking forward the RAV4 Prime.

They make hybrid CHRs now. You should get one.

@@Jeremy198123 Sadly they don’t sell the hybrid in the US. The only powertrain they sell the C-HR with over here is the 2.0 with CVT

I love the look of these. I think they are really cool looking. The one thing I don't like about these is that they don't come with all wheel drive. If they had all wheel drive I would be more into possibly getting one. Do you think they will ever come out with these in all wheel drive. What I think would look really nice is if you could get this body style and look but in a bigger size vehicle like in the Rav. I would love to see this body style in a bigger vehicle size like the Rav.

@@jaroslawakmiot666 they probably need awd, which a smart person would assume by reading the initial comment. They have a purpose and this person most likely needs it which is why it’s a deal breaker. Assuming they aren’t a smart person for wanting awd is stupid

Anybody with 100thousand miles on a toyota cvt? If you change the trans fluid will this make it very dependable like toyotas reliability legacy?

Yes I know people who have done it as long as you change trans fluid every 30k miles. Drain and refill, not flush.

Does 2020 Toyota CH-R XLE have remote start?

Actually there's slightly more in chr than then the Corolla hatch it's just it doesn't appear like it does with the smaller rear windows

@@markc5677 You are right Mark. It's geared more for front passengers and quite roomy. But to be honest for ride height it can be cheaper than the hatch depending on trim. Chr so underrated and drives so well, lacks a bit of power but adequate.

I would buy the Corolla LE sedan. Cheaper than the CH-R, best gas mileage, zippier (weighs 350 pounds less) and same space.

Acting on point. Get this man in the MCU

My Mom bought a 2020 CHR and last winter Toyota had a recall on the block heater. They asked people to come in so service can disconnect the block heat. It was -35 C when they told people in Winnipeg to stop using the block heater. Today Toyota has not replaced the block heater and winter is coming. I am done with Toyota and am telling people Toyota has nose dived in quality and are not fixing warranty issues in an appropriate time frame. I will never buy Toyota. Bought a new 2022 Mazda CX 5 GT Sport and I am very happy with it. Toyota is terrible.

Good luck trying to back out of a parking space. Rear corner vision is the worst in any car made.

It has a backup wide angle camera with safe margin markings ( the guy forgot to mention it). As far as rear corner visibility is concerned, I always use side mirrors to monitor dead spots and it's working great for me...... We paid $22.2 K out the door after $1K cash rebate
