She performed extremly well under presure situations here in BB and FX

Such an extraordinary gymnast with simply gorgeous skills... Her beautiful feet & toe points; her elegant, expressive hands & arms; the strength & accuracy of her jumps, turns, etc... This was a beautifully choreographed routine, something upon which the balletic Russians can be relied year after year. I could, and probably will, watch this many times over.

I love when gymnasts do something different. She has a quirkiness to her like Komova and Mustafina...little flourishes. I love the skills they try and the combos. The front handspring to front tuck is such an interesting acro series.

@Gymnastics Fun Not guaranteed. The fall would likely affect the rest of her routine and she would probably score around 12.8 like her teammates. This would put the US into the lead with an approximate 0.5 margin. Then US girls would be more mentally prepared on floor and performed much better. The judges would also prefer the US girls to win if three ROC girls fell on a single apparatus.

@@lonelyhorse5313 You need to take the fall of Jordan Chiles, together with the mistakes after the fall, into account. Usually the falls aren't just a 1 point deduction, but it could affect the rest of the routines and other teammates as well.

@@cocoroni1031 This is pure science fiction! She didn't fall. The US girls would have been more mentally prepared, but in an hour or so they could not fix all their execution problems. Look at Lee's turns on floor!

@@AlysAmisa I am talking about the uncharacteristic falls which could lead to the change in the medal colour, not about the usual execution problem. Three falls would potentially help the US mentally to perform better and avoid those uncharacteristic mistakes. So Listunova played a critical role in sustaining the leading position on that night.

@@kimochiyokatta1710 I'm sure she would have beaten Sunisa if they let her compete in the AA, she has never lost an overall individual final and I thought it was ridiculous that she was left out of this one, her scores on beam and bars were pretty low. I thought they would give her Vlada's spot after seeing how she carried all the gymnasts (even Melnikova) the day of the team final, but they preferred to leave her teammate who was not difficult enough to fight podium with any of the three medalists. Let us hope that justice will be done in Paris. :'DD

Russia wouldn't have gotten the gold if it wasn't for this routine. She scored around 14s with a hit and it could've been a high 11s to low 12 if she fell.

This score was way too high with that wobble on her hardest skill and that large step on the landing, compared to what they gave Joran Chiles. The judges didn't want America to win the Gold this year...

lol no it's called having amazing form and execution, 2 things Listunova has that Chiles doesn't. Not all deductions come from wobbles. While she did have one wobble her form is miles ahead of Chiles, hence why she scored way higher.

@@trunghuynhquoc9620 Jordan did not do a wolf turn on beam, she been took that out of her routine... and her beam routine, bars and vault was scored much lower in comparison. but that is just my opinion.

@@DatruthBooks американкам всегда подсуживали , им прощали все !!!! плохую разножку , не оттянутые носки , отсутствие хореографии !!!! Просто на мировом уровне поменяли судейство ! Носок не натянула минус пару десятых , если дедорпзвернут шпагат минус три десятых а могут и вообще не защитать , полюс артистизм и хареография , вот и набегает пару баллов
