Komova’s floor was wonderful, but remember it was the AA. Her vault was not so great. Douglas was clean on all her routines, so she deserved the gold.

2024 and i still thinking that Even with the mistake on her vault She deserved the gold, Gaby has mistakes to, one of those was her switch ring at beam that doesn't even had to be counted but judges didn't take anything from her score.

At that time they weren’t as Uber strict on moves like that. The simple reality was Gabby had FEWER errors than Victoria- especially on vault. You simply cannot give your opponent a five tenth head start right off the bat and win!

She’d have won if she hadn’t had such a major error on her vault- or did you forget the FIVE TENTH head start she gave to Gabby right off the bat. Both performed great, but Gabby performed BETTER.

Komova’s vault was horrendous. She gave too many points away in her routines. Gabby deserved the gold. 🥇
