Thanks for this! I have a long commute and our freeway speed limit is 70 mph so having these real world results goes a long way in deciding on a new car.
You are wrong. Sonata blue trim EPA : 52 mpg Sonata limted trim EPA : 47mpg.. Your test result was 48mpg. So.. It is really really good hybrid car.

I got the blue trim and my mpg is more like 42. I love it still!
I purchased a 2021 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited and took a trip to see my daughter; my new grandchild in October from Chili, NY to Ocoee, FL upon arrival we spent approximately $65.00 one way for fuel, I call that simply amazing performance. We arrived back home several weeks later and I purchased a new 2022 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid for my wife's Anniversary, she loves the car, needless to say we will never return to gas only cars in the future; GREAT VEHICLES, HYUNDAI.

Yeah it's hard to go back to straight gas for me also. The ultimate for me would be a PHEV with at least 50 miles all electric range. With that I would basically be driving on electricity most of the time as a daily driver and rarely use gas. And if I wanted to go on a road trip I don't have to worry about charging the vehicle as it can run on gas also unlike an all electric vehicle and have to plan my trip accordingly tied to charging stations and wasting time charging. Sadly though, PHEV's with larger battery packs make drive up the cost considerably and you will not recoup the difference in fuel savings in a short time. And if the battery degrades then you out even more money.
Another great video👍
Sorry, what was that three-click gas fill method you were talking about? Very informative video btw!
I just factory ordered Sonata Hybrid Blue. There isn't a single Hybrid Blue within 200 miles of NJ.
It has an incredibly quiet cabin! Great job Hyundai.
Did AC run during test? AC uses a HUGE amount of gas in a hybrid. REALLY appreciate the video, this is exactly the information I needed. Thanks.

I have a 2015 Sonota hybrid and get much better mileage in the summer months because during the winter months the engine must run more to maintain cabin temperature and the blend of gasoline in the winter is less efficient due to anti icing additives.
It's it loud cruising on the freeway? Kia/hyundai cars always are boomy sounding while cruising to me. Maybe jts just me but they all sound less refined. Please confirm if thats correct.
You in NJ?
It’s hard to find the blue models I just purchased the Sel it drives great and the gas mileage is good also I was on the interstate between 70-80 mph was averaging about 48.5 mpg

It does. He doesn’t know how to use it.
الراقم الواقعي قريب جدا من الرقم على البطاقة استهلاك يعتبر مذهل
Real world testing where 70mph is about the average people drive at and a better idea of what mpg to expect realistically for most people.
You must really love driving don’t you lol

Lol sure do!
If you would have driven at 65 mph you would have gotten 50 mpg.
