@@pharaongaming8617 because AMG engines and handcrafted v8 and v12 today, so 2.0L and 3.0L not built in Affalterbach :) even old engine like 3.2, 3,6 even 4,3 are hand assembled. One man, one engine =AMG. Today mercedes to atrract people gave AMG badge to most cars,making money is more important than the spirit of brand...

The A35 starts from €67k in the Netherlands, now I'll let you choose: base Mercedes A220 or base Renault Megane R.S. (both about €42k)

Luca Erdmann as far as I know the A45 AMG doesn't come. The news generations don't can with the same motors as the old ones.

@@mysterion3912 yes, but with EQ Power like the e53 Coupe. A45s will have around 420 ps.
Great interior with the mood lighting pack. Picked a new one up for a dealer a while back, nice but just wasn't a relaxing drive, even at lower speeds. I am looking for something to buy for my 55th birthday as a very long term car, this was on my list but it just doesnt tick all the boxes.

This segment of cars is the real deal (A35, S3, GOLF R etc)... Daily driver's cars with huge amount of power and great performance... Just look at them, they can do 0 to 100kmh in under 5s and they easily reach a top speed of 250kmh (limited) ... Remember that a 360 MODENA needs 4,5 seconds 0-100 and has a top speed of 290 (plus all the running costs)...

I like the interior except for the glossy black plastic. No reflective material should be anywhere near the driver gauges, or in this case, displays. It looks a bit cheap too. First thing I would do when getting this car would be to put a matte black, or carbon fiber, wrap on them.

It is new, it's meant to compete with the Golf R and Audi S3. the new A45 AMG super-hatch will still come :)

I would chip tune it with stage 2 or 3, remove the OPF filter and make the v max around 270-290 km/h by programming it.
I prefer a drivers car like the M140i with a 6SpeedManual rwd and straight 6cyl. And not a driving computer 💻

Waqas Babar I think it may depend on which country you’re from. In the UK we can’t get bucket seats and the mode switch on the steering wheel but mainland Europe appear to be able to spec it. Similarly with the wheels. UK has a choice of black whereas Europe can have the sportier wheels in silver also

I will say this, Mercedes has taken the crown on interiors. Used to love Audi's designs however they've gone way too touch screen on everything and it feels too sterile
How many cylinders? Great car! The new a series really made big steps forward. I like the blowing sound of the turbo, haha 😄

@@filippo5849 Shouldnt it be less strong then? Because A (45>35). Then it actually makes no sense in buying a A45 since the hp is probably easy to achieve via a remap.
