Happy owner of a CLA 35 AMG Shooting Brake:) Its an awesome car and yes it sounds not as good as the old 45 but its still very engaging and a lot of fun to drive while offering a lot of space inside and the actually greatest interior/infotainment. Thumbs up

@sennheiser honestly speaking I have the car since 3 weeks with now 2400km on it. The first 1500 you shouldn't push it hard which means that I haven't tried too much yet. Nevertheless, from what I've seen so far, I've the impression, that it will be pretty difficult to drift both the 35 as well as the 45. For that reason the new 45 is equipped with the drift mode, which brings the wheels to spin in order to give you a "fake" (but not less funny) drift! Besides that, I don't think that the 35 is capable of sending 100% to the rear wheels. If you are considering to buy one I can recommend it anyway:)

Honestly, this is a good car, but it doesn't deserve AMG logo. AMG should be a sportscar, looking like usual car, but 2.0 turbo with 300hp seems like stock Golf R. So it should be usual MB CLA200 or 300 (i dont understand their model rating) with an AMG package.

@@rmr5184 Congrats man. Its indeed a very nice car. But the sound is just not good. Maybe put a straight pipe on your car. I have a M340i xDrive and i've put a decat on it and removed the muffler.

But I was releived when I heard that it suffers the same sound issues:) I will for sure put an Akrapovic exhaust as soon as it is available. A straight pipe would be awesome but here in Switzerland the police would probably arrest me:)

@@rmr5184 Here in the Netherlands a straight pipe is legal ;) I've got my m340i 2 months now and im not having any problems, ive got 5600km on it now. only problem is that it needs alot of motoroil ;)

CLA45 AMG sounded better but the CLA35 looks better when it comes to design

Mercedes are far superior to BMW and Audi. The CLA even in lower guise is superb to drive. Steering feel and handling is unbelievable. Very balanced car. Only thing is the seats can be a bit firm on long journeys.

Well the first 63 engines were actuall, 6200ccm engines and now due to downsizing the c63 for example is a 4000ccm engine. Because of downsizing this is a 2000ccm engine but its still called a 35... Hope that helped you a little bit.

Cla 45 is the real AMG in this car..still just a 2.0 4cylinder, but way fsster than this and one man one engine phlisophie..this here is just the AMG entry level...not real AMG, but still kind of fast and kinf of nice

Mslick ich verstehe echt nicht was Mercedes hier veranstaltet hat. Der Wagen sieht vom außen super aus. Vom Innenraum muss man garnicht reden. Aber der Sound ist eine Nullnummer Da gefällt mir der alte Motor aus dem Cla/A 45 viel besser
