BMW 1 series will seriously struggle in this segment, since they either cant design or dont have the balls to make major changes. every other car is seriously going for these awesome interiors.

Bro you aint getting this as your first car unless you get your first car at 25+. Even so I wouldn't get it as a first car, it is FAR too powerful for someone that does not know how to drive. If your parents are just rich adn buy this as your first car they really do not care about you, youll kill your self or someone else within a month. Get a banger, enjoy it, then when you can get something like this.

Honestly how do manufacturers make any profit on these cars, the interior is insane. Like, attention to detail, high quality materials, LED strips, the massive screen. Then you have all of the delivery drivers, people on the assembly line, people working in dealerships and the warranty work and servicing stuff, only £40,000 for this?!?!

i have a question, why the top speed is only 250kmh ?? the A250 has a 244kmh top speed, and its 224hp, and the AMG is 306hp, and it has only 250kmh, why ??

Mercades restrict the top speed electronically to 155mph (250kmh) you can remove this and it would push to a faster speed

Most car manufacturers offer a package to do this but in the case that they do not you would have to go to a independent tuning company and they will be able to remove it

Gmailkoula Koula you can usually take it off and get another 20mph or so. Also you can do it in a dodgy garage and get the limiter taken completely off

@@orhankoula1781 just keep it on there... how often are you going to exceed 250 anyway? Besides it's not so good for the engine to push the car to its topspeed. Especially not driving 250+ in a 2L 4cilinder engine. And it's not only Mercedes, all german car manufactures do that. Probably bc it's the only country where 250+ is still a legal speed at certain parts of the autobahn. Other countries don't bother as you would normally not even reach 250, unless you want to risk losing your drivers license etc xD

You would have to look on the website from your country. Prices strongly differ between countries. In Germany it's around €47k, here in Belgium it's already €52k... in the UK only 35k pounds or €40k...

Why is it 2019 sounds better than the new one?

The rearlights need a redesign it still looks ugly.

The problem is, this entry level AMG has as good as features that high-level AMGs like S63, CLS53 does. I mean this is being ridiculous at some point. Other than that, great car and high-tech luxury little rocket for the price!

You compare the wrong vehicles. You want to compare the A35 with BMW? You have to take the BMW M140i. You want to compare the BMW M2 with an AMG. You will have to wait till the A45 is launched.

Dani el, a35-m140i: Bmw please with this 6L....Ok, the a35 is newer than the bmw….its the only thing for which i would choose the mercedes.The next a45-m2 competiton. There is no comparison… The bmw looks so much better and comes with the L6 from the m3-m4s.Yes, one more time, the next a45 will be newer….but i dont care absolutely.

@@soneu234 I didn't speak about your personal preferences. If you like the BMW more thats ok. Everybody has their own taste. I just meant that you compare the wrong segments. It's like I compare a Audi S5 with an BMW M4, they are not in the same segment.

Dani el, the s5 is not in the same segment than the m4?! The engine is the different and other things that im not talking about it now….but the a5 by audi and the 4 series by bmw are in the same segment.This is the same with the 1series by bmw and the a class by mercedes....Ok, the a35 comes with 306horsepower and the m2 competition comes 410cv....everybody know that the m2 will fight with the new a45 and not with this a35....but the segment of both cars is the same man….!

@@soneu234 I think we speak about different things. Regarding the bodytypes you are right. But you consider a segment to wide if you say a S5 fights in the same segment as a M4. There is always to consider at least the power and price too. And then you get new, more detailled and compareable segments. In this case: Audi A5 vs. BMW 4 Series --> Mid-Size Coupé (across all modeltypes) Audi S5 vs. BMW M440i --> Mid-Size Entry-Performance Audi RS 5 vs. BMW M4 --> Mid-Size Performance Mercedes A Class vs. BMW 1/2 Series --> Compact-Size Mercedes-AMG A 35 vs. BMW M140i/M240i --> Compact-Size Entry-Performance Mercedes-AMG A 45 vs. BMW M2 --> Compact-Size Performance

This car is so small inside, especially on rear seats. If anyone over 175cm will be a driver, and it is not in totaly upright position like when driving in driving school, it will be no space on rear seats. I decided not to buy this car just because there is minimum leg space. A34 is very similar to old model in this area. Every other sports hatchback like Audi S3, Golf GTI, Seat Cupra, Hyundai N30i has much more space on the rear seats. Only the BMW 140i hase somewhere similar space like A35. And whatever anyone tells, there is no chance that you can be in correct position if you are taller than 180cm, and so much legroom is left like on the video, because your knees will hit the steering wheel.

14 Seconds from 100-200 Km/h is only Golf R and Audi S3 level. The Bmw M140i/M240i is a lot faster! They needs 11 Seconds. 3 Seconds is a very huge difference!

@@trifonpassalis8887 yeah it's the engine of the A250 but modified by AMG, also with different turbo. But besides that the handling is surely an AMG. It has a lot adopted from the previous A45.

Rogan Y Really Rogan? Cmon man, give this car the credit it deserves. It is a true AMG, it has some serious power and sounds awesome. The handling is on point too and before you idiots say anything more, this engine was finalised by the AMG team in Germany. Suckers
