2017 PSE Evolve 31 compound bow
Спорт
IBO 346 fps, Axle to Axle 31" Draw Length 24.5-30", mass weight 4.3#. 90-80% let off.
The PSE Evolve 31 Compound bow is the flagship bow of PSE for 2017. A new cam system which allows you to modify let off from 90-65%. The cams are smooth and easy to shoot with still good speeds.
We look at the PSE Evolve 31 as a customer we shoot the bow at 30metres and shoot through a chrono graph. The last part of the clip we look at the accessories you would look to add to the Evolve 31.

I shot EVERYTHING!! I fell in love with the evolve 31. Imho, it was pound for pound the best bow for the buck. Target/3-D and hunting. This bow just makes you want to keep shooting it.
Just picked up one of these "new to me". Adding it to my stable of an Inertia & a React.
Thanks for your great information as always! I find that I’m constantly going back to older videos because they are great reference material.
Thank you for this great, thorough, and honest review.

Got this today . Beauty of a bow
Thanks for that mate I'm wanting to upgrade from my stinger and I'm going to try an evolve 😀
Nice shop. You have a lot of stuff on hand
Just shot the Evolve 31 with the Mathews Halon 32 at my local dealer. The Evolve was smoother and faster. Very impressed with it. I thought the Halon, however, was better balanced and held better on target. I also can't get used to the PSE grip.
Great video, as always. I've been waiting for a review on this bow from you. Could you do a quick chrono test with a few different let-offs in the future. That would be great, thanks.

Yes I will be. On other bows it was not much difference. The reason for this is the valley is so short. So the Draw curve is the same. I know on my xpression 65 - 80% virtually made no difference. I shoot 65% for more holding weight. I feel it gets a cleaner shoot off. But honestly it gets back to what you prefer. I have shot both and very little difference in my scores.
Very Good Video
I heard the original flex guard had issues when they got to hot like when left in a vehicle, they were flexing to much causing erratic arrow flight. This was literally just explained to me yesterday because people on AT were asking for the update roller guard

I shoot a flex guard and I seem to shoot it fine. Honestly if I miss it is all me. But maybe. I have not updated my bow. But I may now you mention it.
How far will the poundage go down with the 60 pound bow? thanks.
Great video. I have a quick question for you, I have the PSE Carbon Air 34 ECS and I am using it mostly for hunting and Im trying to get the right stabilizer for it, price is no concern, what would you recommend for this bow , thanks!!!

Good question - I like the 34. I am thinking of getting one myself. With stabilizers the more weight you add further away the more stable you are. But the problem is with a Carbon Air you have a light bow and you don't really want to weight it up. I would start out with a light stabilizer for hunting. If I was doing 3D with it I would be shooting heavy front and back. PSE have some nice matching stabilizers at a good price.
What are the pros and cons of the hybrid cams being top and bottom identical and having one cam different than the other, vs solocam vs no cam?

I like the Lithium LTD. It has the same cams as the 2017 Firecat Kestral. It the limbs are straight then they are Gordon Glass which are good. The Lithium shoot nice. Not like the 340. The 340 is more of a speed machine with a hard draw. They are very different bows. The LTD is just an easy bow to shoot.

Yes slower than published but an easier draw.
Scared the hell out of the people on that train.
I would rather shoot a recurve any day than lug around all the hardware...
