I bought a used 2016 EV+ in 2020 and it is definitely the best car (and first and only EV so far) I have ever had. And even though it's only 109hp, it is still a blast to drive because of the instantaneous throttle response. And every person who has ridden in my car has said that their next car is going to be electric, especially after I answer all their questions about EV ownership (seems to be a lot of misinformation out there!)

8:56 you can also plug in the granny charger to 240V (with adapter) makes a big difference in charging speed. Just sayin' ;-)

Boisvert Kia à Blainville (banlieue de Montréal). Ils ont des 2016 en stock mais je vais aussi regarder les 2017. Je ne penses pas qu'il y aie beaucoup de différence entre les 2 modèles.

Salut, félicitations pour ta chaîne, tu offres effectivement les vidéos auto les plus complètes du web et ce toutes langues confondues! Personne d'autre n'offre un tour complet des véhicules et de toutes les fonctionnalités intérieures comme tu le fais et c'est vraiment un plus. Je crois que ta chaîne gagne à être connue, continue ton bon travail car la qualité de tes vidéos te donnera forcément la visibilité que tu mérites un jour ou l'autre. Je constate que vous avez parfois des commanditaires tels que SilverWax et Nokian Tires mais ou trouvez-vous la majorité des ressources financières? Est-ce en partie du bénévolat? Vous pourriez essayer une campagne de socio-financement, car après tout, vos vidéos guident avec brio les consommateurs pour un achat très important qu'est un véhicule, et ce sans publicité. Je ne trouve personnellement que très peu de points à améliorer, mais à mon avis, tu pourrais t'attarder un peu mieux aux places arrières en t'y assoyant et en montrant l'espace restant entre tes genoux et le siège avant. Même chose pour l'espace cargo, un test de capacité serait intéressant. Aussi, bien que je comprends tout à fait que ton travail est d'évaluer des véhicules à l'état neuf, tu pourrais faire un rappel de l'historique de fiabilité des générations antérieures de chaque modèle car les acheteurs se doivent de considérer cet aspect. Finalement, tu te demandes souvent pourquoi les voitures électriques ont d'affreuses roues, c'est simplement le fait qu'elles sont souvent pleines pour être plus aérodynamiques! Difficile de donner un beau style à de telles jantes.

Should I buy a 2016 kia ev + for $14995 with 26200 miles and what to look for, how do I see if battery is good? I know with leaf I look at the bars left what about the kia EV? Is the battery replacavle here in California or should I buy a 2016 used leaf or a 2015 fiat EV?

Same here! (Used because new is too expensive for me!) Used ones are a GREAT deal! In great condition, with low miles and only one owner can be bought for under $15000. For example, a 2017 Fiat 500e can be bought for under $10000 and a first generation Nissan Leaf can be found for under $7000! Anyway, after over a month of research I have settled on the Kia Soul EV (plus version if possible) and have found several perfect examples under $15000. It has the right combination of range, DC Fast charging (when needed) and other features that I need for my particular situation (and budget!). If there is anyone who wants to get into an electric car but can't afford a new one, I highly recommend looking at used ones. Battery degradation, with only a few exceptions, should not be a problem (stay away from the first generation Nissan Leaf if you can for this reason). Good luck!

how come at full charge you had only 100 km left to drive? I know that with a full charge you can ride around 160 km...

I love my Kia Soul EV. It seems it hasn't that initial kick on acceleration from the standstill. Watching the power meter at the left it looks like it applies power relatively slowly. I don't mind that, though. I guess it better for the car. Thanks for the review.

Somebody could say me if the Soul EV has some similar to Mirrorlink or Android Auto for use mobile apps on the central screen?

Well this ought to be exciting.. since all we have gotten so far has been superficial crap.. from superficial people.. lets see what's behind this door...

I went to pickup my newsoul EV luxury sunroof 2018. They managed to charge the car on a broken charging unit and blowing something in the car. That was a a real let down! Thy will need to give me another car... will be checking that serial number trust me!
