@Johnny White yes I agree the problem is that I already did that and I thought the problem solved, a month later same thing occurs. I honestly don't know what to do at this point, it's driving me insane! I might have to swap out the headers if I don't resolve this. Mind you it has new motor mounts

It helped big time, but i also have 4.56 gears and a 3000k stall currently on 5 lbs off boosts, with a very conservative tune.

It's not easy , it was a mission to find someone that will do quality work, the Edelbrock Victor 2 manifolds is what I've been looking at, it's a beast. The 6.4 is super good but needs some work because of the active runners

I had a lot of fun when I bought my 2003 ram 1500 hemi had 400hp was a blast but still just wasn’t enough for me I rebuilt motor did a supercharger with bigger tuning and cam… well cam it ain’t big it’s a performance one kinda like the stock one I didn’t want that cammed idle I wanted a factory sound. With my exhaust system and manifolds it sounds goooood. It makes 445hp kicks ass

Stock transmission except for the 3000 stall, srt heads, mds delete, d1sc procharger , jba longtubes , custom grind cam, 4.56 gears, upgraded fuel pump, demon injectors, open cut outs, And tuned by American muscle performance.

Start with a straight pipe no resonator no mufflers 3in. Thats how i started, then we went with long tubes 1 7/8 and added electric cuts outs and eventually added magnaflows when the cutouts are closed. Add a comp cam it really opens the car up, originally the car has low end torque but dies up top. Any questions let me know

@@kolohelau1185 right now it has the stock 545rfe with a edge racing torque converter , were swapping it for a turbo400 soon with manual valve body.

6ish sec 0-60 about what a new 5.7L Hemi does stock. Needs the Transmission dialed in to all that torque. Could probably make a 4 second 0-60.

Im going to make another video on my exhaust set up soon , I custom fabricated the whole system . I have jba 1 7/8 longtubes to an x pipe into qtp cutouts that is straight pipe on the sides and when closed it goes to a magnaflow to a carven r exhaust. It’s pretty crazy 😅 the cam im running is a comp little boy cam

I put a converter from edge racing that holds 700 but still i haven't turned it up because of the transmission.

I recommend redoing your heads , put stiffer valve springs and new lifters with the mds delete while you there, with higher volume oil pump not a high pressure oil pump

No. We are turning up the boost. Eventually putting a TH-400 with a transbrake that will hold 1200hp. The stock one won't hold.

His tires are keeping him from hittin 0-60 in under 6sec My ram is tuned and my truck hooks at about 30 then it goes

I would do heads and cam, catless long tube headers, upgraded fuel system, if you can I would do forged internals, one peace drive shaft. Eventually your going to need to change your transmission to something stronger , these transmission are not able to handle that much power even with a built transmission. Im putting a turbo 400 next so i can turn up the boost. Currently running 5 pounds on a safe tune.

I would love too see what that 4.7 can do with boost , unfortunately the aftermarket for the 4.7 is not strong. there's very little parts for it.

You can but there is not that much aftermarket support for the 4.7. I would do a hemi swap and go from there.

hemi swap with longtubes cam and tune, and you would be about the same power for alot less cash for sure. Cam and longtubes with a good tune really is a gamechanger for a hemi.

Jba catless longtube headers 1 7/8 into electronic cutout into dual side pipes no mufflers when valves are open, and when valves are closed goes straight to the back into Magnaflow muffler and resonator into dual tips out the back

I have a 2008 and i want to do this to mine. Any idea what it would cost. Ive saw pro charger kits for 8k. But ill probably have to beef up the motor to handle it.

@@jordanalexander615 currently that the truck has 30 K plus in mods, my suggestion is redo your heads with a can package that includes valves and springs, and if you can do some long tube headers one 7/8 headers. The problem with the transmissions of these trucks is that the gears are way too long. I only kept the rear diff and removed the front diff since I only changed the rear diff from a 392 to a 456 that shortened gear and I threw a converter, currently the transmission with the power I added tends to slip but then again I’ve been using it as a daily since Covid with the set up and beating on it 200k+. The truck changed completely with Cam‘s long tubes and differential dramatically before adding the supercharger. The supercharger amplified it way more and I’m only running 5 pounds and I’m killing Trackhawks scat packs 5.0s and many more. The Procharger hello you too go up to 32 pounds of boost each pound is roughly 20 wheel horsepower..

@@Albertsuptosomething my truck I've noticed does have long gears but it's the five speed auto instead of the four. I've already had transmission work done to beef it up to handle bit more. I notice if I hold it to around 5k before 2nd the truck just goes hard through 2nd. But that gear goes forever literally from 30 to 65 in just 2nd. I put dual straight pipes on it and it picked up a little bit. Just wonder if I'd be better off finding one built. My truck is worn out.

I’m not putting a built one I’m going I’m stock, I’m getting one from Jasper transmissions the stock one holds up a lot and would’ve hold up a lot more if it wasn’t for the 200 K plus mileage. the only thing I’m keeping with the transmission is my upgraded converter which wakes it up a heck

@@Albertsuptosomething I actually didn't need to rebuild my transmission. The computer went out from short in my wiring harness. But it threw all the codes for the transmission so I assumed it was the electrical components going out. Spent 4500 to rebuild it stronger than before and then still had to replace the computer for 500

5.7s have a lot of potential when done right , plus you need to know where the limits are , and not focus just on on hp , gearing , converters, and other factors play a big role to good get results.

@@Viper-no6wb regap pistón for boost, redo the heads, arp head studs, mds delete, you can go with Holley high Ram and get the adaptor plates to make it fit, put some Ripp supercharger coil packs, get Texas speed cam and valve springs, higher volume oil pump, 1 7/8 long tube header and a good tuner. And add a 4000 stall converter from circle d for this setup. If you can do the forged internals do it.
