It's awesome. Sounds badass and she's quick. Surprises alot of cars when you take off. Will spin all through 1st and chirp 2nd and sometimes 3rd. Downshifts to 1st at right RPM will break rear tires loose. Fun!

@ joe salack- thanks. it's a 2wd. Over 60k with supercharger and never had issue with water. Inner fender covers most of it, only chance of water is if it comes up between engine and radiator. The filter on the bottom is for the bypass valve and air only blows out of it while driving at no load pulling with vacuum. Also the elbow on the bypass would keep any water from getting into the piping if it did get past filter.

I wish I had those skills. Plus for the ATI Procharger warranty to be valid, it has to be installed by an authorized dealer. I had Injected Engineering do the installation. I highly recommend Injected Engineering. These guys are top notch with an awesome shop and they do their own custom tuning on their in-house dyno. These guys are known for the high performance, custom installations. The do everything from nitrous, superchargers, turbos, engine upgrades, cams & anything related to going fast.

it is connected to the anti-surge valve (similar to blow-off valve on turbo setup). it vents the boost to the atmosphere when the throttle body plate closes when I let off the throttle. The filter is there to prevent any debris from getting into the anti-surge valve. I probably wouldn't need it if the valve was in the engine compartment, but since it is under the car close the ground it is an extra precaution.

Awesome man, you're going to love it. I got the hi mount intercooler so it connects on the bottom. if you get high mount, it blocks air for the trans cooler. I would suggest to get heavy duty trans cooler (26 row) from a Dodge 2500! My trans is shot and I wish I had known sooner. Let me know if you have any questions.

Lorenzo- I bought it through Injected. They ordered it from ATI directly. They are a dealer for ATI. I got it cheaper than anywhere else. They matched the lowest price I found. Give em a call. Great group if guys. Aric is awesome at tuning the HEMI.

Not much else I can do except for cutouts... Already have full exhaust. Plus it gets a lot louder when you get on the throttle. That's the only place the air filter can go. No room anywhere else. Plus with the intercooler, being that close to the engine doesn't matter as much

I had Edge 2800 stall but went with Paramount 2600 stall when I got the new transmission to match the torque curve and when the supercharger started building boost.

Will- yes, my trans went out about 11 months later. I went with the Paramount Performance transmission. Has all upgrades available for 545RFE.

You have a gorgeous truck. I'd love to lower my Cummins (inferno red also :) ), but its darn hard to do with it being 4x4. You should a walk around video of the truck, I'd like to see more of it!

I just bout a 2014 ram 1500 tradesman /express all white. with the new hemi. 395 horsepower. 410 tq. plenty powerful to me. but your truck is awesome. nice job

Noise is normal. It's not the helical gears, they're +$100 upgrade if you want it quiet. I like it loud and sounds badass in person. A lot of the sound is amplified in the video.

Honestly, that's great, had an 05 Hemi, now have a 2015. All I did was buy a program tuner (Bullydog) for my new Ram, for $400, from a buddy, and the truck now is like a rocket. Not saying it'd beat a Procharger, but for only $400, getting close to that performance

Yeah, the 2009+ with Eagle heads and VVT are more potent. Plus more options for root/screw super chargers from the aftermarket on those models.

With supercharger, headers, full exhaust, full install and custom tune was around $12k Thanks. I'm getting ready for cam and heads soon. Got to get my tranny fixed first..my 4th gear clutches are toast. The 545rfe doesn't like power.

Will, a lot of that is the camera but yes you can hear it. I didn't get the helical gears ($100 upgrade charge) so the standard cut gears are louder.

@mhurldroid. You can safely run 8 psi on stock motor. Our Hemi bottom end will hold up to ~500-550 hp. I've had mine for 50k+ miles and I beat the shit out of it. Still runs like a champ. Just keep the maintenance up on motor and supercharger and you'll be fine.

Wham- you can check out at Modern Muscle Performance. Paramount doesn't release info on their trans. It is all proprietary parts. They came highly recommended by Injected Engineering. The trans is great. I also went edge Paramount 2600 stall torque converter. I think 5 sec is doable in a reg cab. I don't think under 5 without other mods, that's freakin quick for a truck.

Is that 4x4? Either way it's a sick setup, I'm looking into one for my dodge. What do you do about that air filter? Looks like if you were to hit a puddle it would be tragic.

@ daniel soto- Thanks. It's quick enough to get you into trouble. They're never fast enough though! These are stock 20x7 running a 255/45-20. It was a little narrower than I liked, no rim protection at all but I don't like fat sidewalls either. I upgraded to a 22x10 and run a 285/35-22 now and they are perfect with the McGaughy 4/6 drop.

Did they provide you with the kit or did u buy it somewhere else and they installed it for because I want to put a supercharger on my 2012 300c hemi and I'm in Georgia to.

If I drive it hard in the city, around 12mpg. If I take it easy if gotten 18. Driving on highway under 2500 (no boost) I've got 21. Pulling a 4000 boat around 10. But I only pull boat 10 miles to lake and it is mostly 2 lane hwy and flat.

why is the unit ratling like the impellers loose Is that normal? I'd love to see a dyno on that truck.

TheCowGoes- that's more than most trucks out there. 5.5 sec 0-60 in a 5800lbs truck is pretty respectable. Now that the tranny is sorted out I plan to take it to the track. That's 412 is to the wheels, stick was like 280 hp haha not the 390 that dodge advertises. If you want to compare flywheel, it's probably around 550hp.

I got a 5.7 in my 2005 2500 with the NV4500 trans, I would love to procharge. Was it worth it? I understand these motors can hold up to it but how does everything else wear and tear?

See comment below from hhbubba. there are tons of cummings out there, but very few superchargered hemi. Cummings if towing but procharger if looking to have fun, go fast and surprise the shit out of people. I am upgrading my transmission right now. more of a must torque converter and valve bodies at least.

Hope you changed the valve springs on that hemi. Junk yard full of hemi blocks.

You all need to take into consideration that this was probably recorded with a phone. And the microphones in phones are easily overloaded in an engine bay.

About how much did this set up cost you?

Thinking about slapping one in my 2015 ram. Did the tune take care of the governed speed issue, or did you have to pay extra to get that "fixed".

xaveirpineda2 Most canned tunes will remove speed limiter, a custom tuner would be able to remove as well. Most do anyways but never hurts to make sure before they do the tune.

This requires tuning so while tuning you can eliminate the governor altogether. I have a D1 head unit on my 2016 ram with supporting g mods and my truck runs mid 11's @ 125 mph. On 8 lbs of boost stock motor.

Ecoboost will give it a run for the money. I'll pull away through the rpm. Stock ecoboost will run 0-60 in 6.1 sec. I get 5.5 sec constantly and have had a 5.34 before my tranny started going out. A modded ecoboost would be fun to run against. I surprised the shit out of a Ram 2500 with Cummings, chip and exhaust. When we got to the light he said "...i only had it in 2" so light goes green and same story, I pulled from him again. Needless to say he didn't roll down his window at the next light.

Thanks for letting me know. You should raise hell with procharger. Thats fucked up. I cann see now it does block it. I had a greedy on mine, it mounted a lot higher. The procharger i found is for a 11-13 mustang, so it has the two mounting tabs in the middle. Should be able to hang it high.

I went with supercharger over turbo because I towed boat and toys. I'm sure ATI designed to be somewhat safe but with any modifications there are always risks. I'd highly recommend getting a tune. If not, I'd be more worried about running lean before I would with the boost pressure. The 5.7 bottom end can safely hold 550 crank horsepower. No real concerns except for the tranny, finally found a good performance tranny from Paramount Performance but the 545RFE is characteristically slow, soft engagement. There will be T56 conversion in the near future. Can't do heads and cam until then, don't think the tranny will handle the additional power and my hard driving. I went with top mount for better cooling and to keep it up from the road debris.

I went with centrifugal because they didn't make screw or roots style blower for 08 5.7, only started in 2009+ Hemi. It will throw codes with long tubes but the custom tune and O2 extensions stopped that. Passes emissions with flying colors.

Hey thanks for the quick reply very nice truck by the way. Everyone I talk to says turbo turbo turbo but to me those are for lol 4 cylinders. But with the information you gave me sounds like I have a lot of homework to do don't like to be those ppl that go and say hey I want this and make it happen and was just worried cuz it's my daily driver and the nicest thing I got and would like to keep it that way also I know just a lil bit about cars but this is gonna sound retarded when I accelerate 100 percent and don't let off to shift when it finnaly does you hear the exhaust k8nda go BLEHH is that normal or should I not push it that hard it doesn't shutter or seem to miss I just didn't no if some one changed the computer sett8ngs if possible or what but like I sa8d I don't want to damage it

+Joe mamma thanks. I would have gone turbo...but a custom install if it wasn't my daily and I didn't tow. If there was a screw or roots blower I would have used instead...but again if it wasn't my daily. I got the centrifugal because I can still cruise around town and get on it when I want. Best of both worlds. Starts building boost around 2500 and really picks up at 3000. There is little parasitic loss at lower RPMs that you can feel but I could fix that with heads/cams and higher gear ratio out back. Not sure what to tell you on your exhaust. Sounds like it could be pushing it too hard.

+Joe mamma gotta remember too, you start to lose power to high in rpm band, so redline doesn't mean time to shift. Need to set your shift point according to max hp/torque on Dyno graph
