Will this wrk for iphone 6 plus

I was able to install my wireless charger for my 2013 Yukon XL today. I’m not always great at figuring this out but this video is exactly what is needed for instructions. I paused it a few times to make sure I was following correctly but yes. It worked and it was pretty simple. Thank you Boost Auto Parts for making an easy to follow video for how this needs to go. I’m all up and running great now! Thanks again!

Got mine today, installed it in like 15min! Simple install and I’m happy with it!

Just installed this charger in my 07 Duramax LTZ, works great. Don't have to mess with plugging my phone in anymore!

Finally got this for my 2011 Yukon Denali and these instructions were spot on and easy. I saved a step by drilling through the top console plate and I to the inside cover. The connector is snug through a 3/8 opening so I hollowed the holes out a bit. Works perfectly in fast charge mode. Thank you Boost Auto, so simple even a chick can do it!

Super helpful video! Just received and installed my charger this week. The connector that attaches to the charger itself looks slightly different than the one in the video, it has a larger catch tab. It does not fit through a 3/8ths drill bit hole. Just a heads up. Consider a larger bit than they suggest here or use a ream after to widen it (I did the latter).

Unfortunately not - the placement of the screw holes that retain the charger are different from front to back.

Looks great and I would buy for my 07 LT but am worried about the phone slipping off during harder turns or on rougher roads as the pad now lays almost flush to the pad edges. Anybody experienced such issue and/or found a fix to this?

The rubber mat grips the phone quite well - I'd recommend you call our team at 765-831-2830 to discuss

I have this installed in my 2007 Yukon Denali and both lights are on the orange and the blue nothing happens when I press and hold the button and it does not charge any suggestions

Hello, You do not have to turn off the charger when you turn off the truck. It will not put any strain on the battery leaving it on.

Some customers do not like a constant blue resting light, so we allow them to turn this off while still leaving the charger powered on.

This will only charge one phone.

What does it mean when both the red and blue lights flash together then the red light flashes by it’s self then cycles back to them both together? Charger isn’t working

I have a larger phone (galaxy s10 plus with a larger case). When I line the phone up to where you install this wireless charger it does not fit all the way down into the hole as it is too wide, not by much. Does installing this "lift" the hole to become close to flush with the sides of the original hole? In the video it looks like it could be dang close to being flush but I'm not sure.

It is still a bit sub-flush, so if your phone won't sit level it may not charge adequately.

In 6:30 , you put a plug charger is it for the wireless charging ? .... another question, if I turned the car off will it be automatically turning off the wireless charger ? Or I have to press something to turn it off

Hello, That is to simply show you that the cigarette lighter can still be used for any accessories you have. It is not the plug for the charger. The charger is in an idle state when the truck is off. With no phone on the charger it is not charging. With a phone on the charger it will charge the phone.

So If I forget to press the middle button in the wireless charger for almost three seconds, and I turned the truck off, the charger will be totally off ? ( I will not put the phone on the charger when the car is off ) so the car battery will be Fine and I will not have a dead battery right?, sorry for the questions

Keep in mind the 2017 Tahoe already has this as an factory option, so you'd be better off just buying an OEM console lid with the wireless charger pad.

Not unless you are actively charging with it. The charger in resting state (even with the LED resting light on) draws milliamps and would take months to drain the battery.

I dont have that truck no more..i have a 04 and and 06! Whatca got for those 2 trucks?!

How well does this truly work with cases on? I have a Samsung Note 8 an have put several DIY wireless charging solutions in my console but none have worked an if it does I have to take the case off ( Defeats the purpose IMO) But seeing as this is a 10W if I'm gonna spend that kinda money I'd like peace of mind it will work with most cases.

Hi Erika, It is heavily dependent on the thickness and material of the case. This will charge through most cases, however the charging zone is reduced.

Yes, LT's have a slightly different console. If you're not sure, email sales@boostautoparts.com a picture of your console with the mat removed and they can confirm if our charger will work or not.

Now if you would make one that fits under the tray that sits directly under the A/C controls on the Nissan Frontier that would be awesome. Fast Qi charging. Just no drilling or lights needed.
