Hey, just seeing this! She actually drove me back out there and we picked up my friends and the other lady that was looking for cell phone service. She brought us all back to the winery where we partook in the festivities and got a cab back to our truck. I appreciate that ride more than you will ever know! I hope yall's hiking trip was amazing!

omg this might be the easy way to replace a lost key too, instead of paying the stealership $120 to make a new one from the VIN

It sounds like it is in the wrong position. Use the key to put the lock cylinder in different positions. I think it's supposed to be in the park position when you insert the cylinder

Ooh, I'm not sure on that one specifically.

Is there a way to change the igniton and use the same key? Instead of having to have two different keys? As the original will still fit the door.

Have a locksmith who does key programming to program the old key to the new switch.

@@dudewecanfixitpretty sure you can just get a new cylinder with a set of tumblers and take out your old ones one by one which are coded by numbers and inset the proper numbered tumblers in the new cylinder so the key code matches up

It is, that's why they made the "reprogramming" part so long. That way people couldn't swap the ignition and steal your truck in 2 minutes.

So it’s 40 minutes an not 30 minutes?
