I am not a mechanic and suggest you don't work on your air bag system yourself. I was able to fumble through this issue myself and it worked, but I don't encourage you to do the same unless you know what you are doing.

Nice job! I have the same issue with mine. The shop I went to thinks it has something to do with the seat. I'm gonna try this 1st.

How do you know if it’s the passenger side or drivers side that needs servicing?

One way is the mirror passenger airbag light says on with someone sitting there but you still get the airbag error on the dash. Driving in hard rain got mine to trip the drivers side. Must have had a crack for water to get in.

@@reuvenlloyd6769 ok, so im not 100% sure if its fixed but what i did was withe the car off (suggested to disconnevt battery but i do not have radio code so i gambled) i made sure all the connectors were good. The connector under the drivers seat looked a bit wonky with the blue tabs half on so i connected it right and now no light. But on a side note it still could be water intrusion on the drivers side crash sensor on the front of the car. My troubles started after two days of very heavy rain and the fix occured after 6 days of no rain.
