I know from the big systems I helped install was able to do that too. It was 18 12s in a wall in trail blazer and they did really well in competitions. Had to have a lot of power and amps to get it there tho.

shire bands brand x 390 billet alt taramps md8000 sundown zv5 15’s box disigned by basshaulics productions built by lows unlimited all sundown audio wiring 2 runs power 2 runs ground pioneer radio has 13 cans of expanding foam on the pillars and wood roof with 10 cans of foam total on the roof itself thats why barely any flex also tha blue pole in the video is to reinforce the roof but since the seat was down i took it off

If wants to be SPL loud, needs too add another one of those amps to overcome box rise. 1 amp per sub. (could also increase voltage, add SB (super cap bank), and lithium if chooses to compete). The box looks nasty clean. Gnarly.

That's enough power for both of those subwoofers I have a bass 8k taramps on two fi hc 15s 2500 rms ran at. 5ohms with a impedance rise back up to. 8ohms in a kia soul it s tearing my vehicle apart all you need is a extra 500 watts on a subwoofer anything else you are killing the life span unless you have money to burn reconing subwoofers twice a year? I been hooking up systems for 40 years and only burned up maybe 4 subwoofers from two much power I'm not into spl competitions my setup is for daily driving only

My mind keeps changing but for now i want two 15s on 2k watts tuned to 38hz and this is for my first proper build aiming for 142 to 145DB on music.

Great vid Jacob Taramps & sundown is the perfect formula 👍🏾 wish i could demo that truck. I just received my 2nd Taramps MD12k .5ohm version cant wait 2 hook it up. Running 4-15" zv5 wit a MD12k .5ohm version in 1 ohm 7200 watts RMS. and its hittin wayy harder than a MD8k i had on them zv5 werid🤷‍♂️ but I'll post a video when i get my 4 banks of Lin Long banks installed. I also upgraded now just lastweek got a md 12k and cmax bank whole new beast in this video i didnt get to tune accordingly since i finished the day before at night but after that show it got loud and windy on the 8k

Right now I'm running two fi hc 15s 2500 rms on bass 8k taramps at .5ohms with a. 8ohm box rise 150 stock alternator with 400 ah of reserve batteries amplifier doesn't even get hot

Don't not listen with headphones on lol...truck rattling to much in the back,for some weird reason jacob stayed back there to much in this vid lol..other wise good video like always 👍👍💪💪

What surround is better for dailying music the mega roll or the spl surround

How do you run 2 of those subs on a 1ohm amp? Are they both 4ohm subs?

Both subs are D1, but he wired them down to 0.5 each and when wired them together to get 1 ohm final.

Nice build man! That thing is getting down. So is that 45ah the only battery you have in there? And it looks like the voltage was doing good. What is the lowest voltage you see? And where does the voltage rest at ? Any information about this will help I wanna do the same thing with my Cummins.

That voltage was on the gas at 1.5k rpm imho limitless dont do good unless you have one big ass baterry of a few for reserve i went to cmax now and a 12k. And yes that was my only battery at the time

Knowledge Born has expanding foam up the ass and wood roof so barely any flex the only flex is on tbe license plate holder since there nothing really holding it in anymore but will soon take care of that lol
