Bruh I seen people do 150' with a single 12 on 2k around 33hz. He should be bummed out if he's just about the score and build something else, however.. it looked like it sounded great so if he's doing it for fun he should forget scores and enjoy his system.

I had the same type of box in my 87 Isuzu pup, it had six 12 and it took up the whole bed but I was having issues where the cab meets the bed because the bed moves independently. Just go with the rubber gasket and just have a hole in between so the bed can move in a cab to move and it'll be totally waterproof and it won't crack. Metered 162

I've got a real similar build. It's hard to get loud with the bottom firing blow through. Once you start going through the window it's a whole nother game.

Guess he is not to concerned about bed flex seeing how he basically bonded the truck and cab together.

The way the cab is shaped couldn't get boot to work so filled it with 4 big cans of spray foam lol.. Also had 4 can through the entire cab

True as in i too have (heard) and seen alot of bad things with taramps amps. As far as there electrical being up to par i dont know maybe its the persons fault the amps go faulty.

Usually is, user error. The vibration, and too high of an input voltage(from head unit,dsp,or line drivers) from the rca's.

I learned something about taramps you can run a stock alternator with battery reserves as a daily driving? As long as you don't go full tilt to clipping because taramps numbers won't climb higher uncertified? Clipping? Or dynamic burst they all stay the same? But with a Korean amplifier they produce their power with high voltage and low impedance

Ya more “rat rod” bass. I rock a Stetsom amp though I have upgraded Alt and two XSpower d7500 batts and a voltage regulator but my custom 15’s live in the trunk. Right on keep BASSN!!

I got a 2012 screw 4 door f-150 with a 300 amp alt all 0g ofc 154ah of AGM battery and I got 2 Sundown SA 15 classic's on a md3k @1ohms I clamped just over 1300watts and did a 146.0 @37 hz I got to get more battery power and I have a MD5K I want to use I also just messed with my port and I tuned down to about 20hz and I can feel the wind pressure different just need more battery and power to hit 150db @25hz

I wired my setup to 1 ohm today, and inverted my subs. Didn't get much louder, didn't bother making a video about it. Everything is maxed out. It's knocking my rearview mirror pretty hard, and a tiny bit of door flex, but otherwise just not the power I'm looking for. Plus my RZR1-2500D amp is toasty hot. I'll make a video in the next week or two, till then y'all can check out my last video @ 4 ohms. Digging this lil truck here, now THAT'S more like it!!!

The reason it's getting stupid hot is because that amp is not rated to handle a 1 ohm load. It's also probably not that extremely loud because you're probably seeing ~1,100 watts at most dynamically. People have said that amp can handle a 1 ohm load for a while, but keep in mind your time is borrowed when using something out of spec.

Kicks ass for a stock alt build i also like the subs my future build will be 2 or 4 12's on 2k or 6k watts so it would be kinda similar to this although i want a musical build still

Question. Tryna decide on a alternator that will be great for my electrical. I have two smart 3's on 4 12s. 270 ah in agms and trying to see if a 240/250 amp alternator would work fine and idle at 190 ???? I wanted to go 300 amps but i was told it wouldnt work because of my thin v belt on my 1973 Cadillac Eldorado. Any info?

@@iceewhite High output alternator and at least 3 batteries. Its ok to have a lil voltage drop as these amps kinda rely on it although too much voltage drop will kill any amp. i have a 270xp alt from dc power thats been fantastic to me

They were d2 subs, all wired in series and parallel to the amp. Not all coils read dead on. Its resistance.

Group 31 AGM Batteries I suggest. If can't afford 31 then go to Group 34s. Lithium is another option if you want less weight but spend more. XS Power, Northstar, Limitless, etc.

JacobViral lmao so I got the amp and got one Xs d5100 60ah and I can go full tilt before clipping no problems my voltage stays at 12.. some songs might make it dip harder but only cause they’re made w tons of distortion. Overall taramps is a great company I feel I’ve been overpaying for Koreans

Buy rockford fosgate amps. Very powerful amps with strong boards. If you need big power like 5k+, go with a DC audio amp or Crescendo

It’s just a bandpass build where you have a sealed section and a ported section for 4ths and two ports for 6ths. Better bandwidth.

adrien turbo honestly tho with these amps a lot of batteries is really the best way to go. They’re doing all their power at 12 volts not 14.. I think that’s why I’ve noticed people keep stock alts and get 12ks with these but get lithium batteries
