You only need one subwoofer. The right sub in the right box with the right amount of power can be just as good as four subs. As long as you have the voltage the sub will do the damn thang.

Yes...like putting motor on both back wheels of go kart! May even slow ya down cause they "work" against each other! I use have one Rockford T1 with 1200 class D amp on .5 ohm and friends with 4 kicker 12s stayed mad!

I have 1 ZV5 18 in a 7 cubic box with a lanzar opti drive 4000D. I have the big 3 up front but I doubled my 0 gauge wire all the way through. Extra battery. I can slam all day no issues.

Hell yeah, I’m the early 2000’s I got lucky bought kole audio from a pawn shop after the dude told me I wouldn’t blow a audioban with a jbl power series amp I blew it got the kole audio everyone thought it was 3 12s. It out thumped my 3 12s with 4K watts rms

Hell yah this is one of the loudest single subwoofer around! Love it

Now that's what I like the Best, is a 1 Sub System Tearing Up Stuff and Playing Clean as you know what

I'm going to get 4 Fi 15in BTL4. I wanted the Neos until I read up on the loss of motor force with heat. I guess I'd you could put fans on them like Neo Hoe it might be ok. Then again, I'm not considering competing. Losing a bit of motor force wouldn't matter that much just playing music. But yeah, I've been looking hard at the Fi subs. I've been running HCCAs with no complaints, but I'm wanting custom subs. Parts will eventually be gone for production subs. Fi are built to last!

Russell Burgan do yourself a favor and order recones along with them they also take a long time to ship out . Nothing worse than having no bass

Anthony Rainone lol the amplifier can’t see anything. Regardless if it is wired in series or in parallel it is just a load to the amplifier. What amplifier are you using?

James Bond Car Audio that was metaphorical lol crescendo 3k what I’m saying is the amp doesn’t give 1500 to one and then 1500 to the other it gives 3000 across the board with maybe a slight decline in the speaker at the end of the series due to resistance from the previous speaker

Anthony Rainone the power would be distributed evenly. Unless you have a ridiculous amount of distance between the subs. And also impedence rise is a S.O.B. So most likely you are not overpowering your subs

If he 8nvested into some Second Skin Dampner, he would be Set Up Perfectly

Hopefully someone can help me... I only have a 12in kicker VX (L7 but the round speaker) with a 800.1 kicker amp and it’s all set up good and what not but trying to get the most boom I can Get. My box is ported but it’s the rhino lined type of box and if I were to position it in a down firing way, would it hit or sound any better than the normal way???

Not so much...It Just positions the bass... If you want to change the sound of the sub to make it sound better or worse you would add cotton to the inside of the box. Your sub box should have a baffle in it that helps alot. Changing the ohm will change the sound also. If you wanted it to sound different. I noticed some of the Qbomb boxes and some rhino lined ported boxes IV seen online didnt have a tuned baffle. I won't buy a box unless it has a baffle. Rockville and Skar have a nice ported boxes. Carpet on a box might change the sound also but not sure bought that one. Kicker subs can handle 25% more watts then watt it says. 👍 Kicker subs are known to be loud and slam. But not low gut wrenching beautiful sounding Bass.

Just as an example of how much demo music is out there, DJ Rusticalls sells a USB of demo music with 3,500 songs and most of them are songs you've never heard. I also have Decaf 1-40 with 2,001 songs. I have yet to listen to them all. I'll hear a song I like and not know what one it was later on because there's just so damn many. It's crazy how much is out there.

Back in early 2000s i worked at cabnet shop..i was cool with stain box back then! But when can get 3/4 MDF (with laminated oak or pine over it) you GONE be happy to use it! Double it up and sit a Rockford T1 in the box ported facing up and having JL 10 on each side in single truck box had a VERY clean sound!

BassErex are you comparing by ear? Your original comment states that low bass can’t get loud which is wrong. Yes a cheap sub has the potential to get as loud or louder then this setup. BUT in the right enclosure with the right testing any body can get “loud” with any equipment.

Back in the day I had a 92'eagle talon with just 1 JL Audio 500/1 and 2 surplus Visonik 12's , it totally broke the wind shield and then KILLED the car ..in total the car and system cost me 650.00 however it got me about 10,G's in Fine's 🤔🤭

4 words. Shut. The. Fuck. Up. This isn't the 80's and 90's anymore when people were listening to loud PA systems and subs at 60-70hz. These systems are doing 30hz! That low of sound doesn't hurt your ears. It hurts your chest. Learn the difference.

Only reason i chose the fi neo 3.5 over the re xxx is because they dont offer dual 1ohm for the xxx (amp runs at .5 ohm)
