Olight has come out with two brand new tail switch everyday carry flashlights. The smaller of the two, the I3T EOS, is AAA flashlight with a maximum 180-lumen output. The M1T Raider is powered by a CR123A and offers 500 lumens. They're very similar in design and size, but very different flashlights for different purposes.

I just got the smaller Olight and I’m very impressed with it. It’s already part of my EDC! Great video and it fits perfect on this forum.
Man keep'm coming! Enjoying the videos!!
Just got the M1T and I love it.
Really appreciate it ! Very nice video, keep going !
A few things to consider, if you're thinking about buying one of these flashlights: 1. You can't cycle through the two modes (while the flashlight is on) On pretty much every other flashlight you can. 2. AAA batteries are less expensive and more commonly available (gas stations, small stores) than CR123A. (4x AAA are the same price as 1x CR123A, at least where I live.) 3. If this is your first flashlight and you live in a urban area and you don't know if you're going to use them every other day, get the i3T (or the i1R which is rechargable and tiny as a peanut), even if you end up not using it in your EDC, it makes a great light for your flat/house. 4. If you live in a more rural area, I wouldn't get the MiT, just because for example the "S1 Baton" (also by Olight) offers more modes (one of which is strobe) and runs also with only one CR123, is tiny as can be and only costs a few bucks more. But that's just my personal preference / opinion.

Valid points. For the first one, I have to say that that's not much of an inconvenience for me, but I guess I can see where some people might find it annoying.

Best Damn EDC Yeah, a ton of bushcraft, survival, edc, gun channels have a problem with that (including me, kinda) but like I said, it needs a little bit getting used to and then it'll be no problem at all. Cycling through the modes while the light is enabled was the standard for a long time, people just like what they already know and understand. But there's nothing like being open minded for new things ;-)
I bought two M1T Raiders, one of each version. Just so you know the version with the crenulated edge comes on in high mode, the version with the smooth edge comes on in low light mode.
Thanks for the info dude! I just picked up the I3T, can't wait for the M1T to go on sale!

I love Olight flashlights.
Glad to see someone who sees why a tactical light starts on high.
The small one needs a medium setting
Diggin' the new Best Damn EDC logo. It's nice

Yeaaahh ... That's a thing. Ha
I'm still happy using a manker t01.
I’m not a fan of either batt size, but I like those brightness options, or lack thereof. I’ve misplaced my AA edc light, so maybe.....

I wasn't either at first, but the I3T EOS is *really* starting to grow on me.
I was scouring KZread for a small pocket EDC flashlight that has the momentary light option, preferably with a rechargeable battery and bumped into your channel. I have to say that your content is entertaining. Your delivery is clear and concise, keep up the awesome work. I am going to use your links to go into Olight to help the channel. In my EDC search I became intrigued with the M1t Raider, however I noticed olight does not carry it on their site. Is there a reason? Not sure if the M2R is the newer version hopefully not because it seems to be a little to large for my comfort. Can you please assist me with any suggestions of light I may want to consider with list listed features noted above..... Thank you in advance.. Like 👍button SMASHED 💪
Hi, I was wondering what the difference was between the olight i5t and the i3t?
What does the MiT stand for?
M1t raider got discontinued? What's the replacement, if any? i5t?
Hey i got a question so i got my delica 4 but i'm heading over for a trip for around two months but i can't take my delica on the airplane and i really don't want to take it cause i think i will loose it so what should i do to store it for so long while in gone in order so it doesn't rust and that kind of stuff
@BestDamnEDC

Honestly, it should be fine as long as you don't store it somewhere it can get wet. If you're really worried, spread a small amount of oil over the blade. Should be perfectly fine. 🤘🏻
Just got a Lumitop tool AA 2.0 with 14500 rechargeable batteries from amazon. I don’t get why people still think it’s a big flashlight.
Holy hell.. why did I pay so much for my s1r baton.... Those are really good deals from Olight

To be fair, the S1R is much more compact and has nearly twice the output … and magnetic charging.

Ericalyons Lyons plus more modes including strobe, which could come in handy in a self-defense situation, though I hope you never have to use it.
so where can I get an MIT flashlight?? snicker, not sure what good a flashlight that dims itself is but Im ol'skool I guess, I dont want my tools telling me how to abuse them

😂 I just couldn't get it right… And a lot of flashlights taper their brightness as the battery drains, especially the higher-output models.

its not easy making videos, especially trying to do one takes vids! I carry mainly one click aaa flashlights but I do have others for when the need arises. My son got me a Streamlight 75494.0 Red 640 lm DS Stinger LED with 2 chargers and 2 spare batteries, one charger and battery is in the truck. I didnt realize what it cost until I just looked it up, now I realize why he was so upset when he misplaced his. My entire camp cost less ! Im going to smack him upside the head with it ! lol

Hah. You've got yourself a good son!
I find the Microstream to be much better than the I3T EOS.
Anyone else watch this for the box cutter in the thimbnail

Hello!
@Best Damn EDC Take a look at the JetBeam JET-1 MK. I owned a similar model and used it until I lost it. It's compact, bomb proof, waterproof, bright, takes AA batteries, lasts a long time. IMHO better than the comparable Olight (which I now own :P). www.amazon.com/JETBeam-JET-1-Lumens-Anti-reflective-Flashlight/dp/B07T6J36NB Only complaint is the clip is silver.
I hate to be a negative Nancy, but it’s still $2 cheaper for the smaller light on Amazon than it is on O-Light because of the $5 shipping. That made it 21.99 and on Amazon with Prime it’s $19.99 even.
180 lumens for 20 minutes feels next to useless
