I toured this one a couple months ago. It has potential, a good fit for someone out there but given how much work it needs the price will need to keep dropping. I feel bad for the person that bought this place sight-unseen for $3m last summer. The previous seller's CGI listing made it look like a move-in-ready paradise. Kudos to Madeline for showing its real state!

Yeah, that was an unfortunate situation. However, we’re under contract and the buyers are so excited to finalize the home and make it a true sanctuary 🤗 I know our videos aren’t all high end/movie-like, but I see the value in seeing things in their true state, so that’s why we film raw. Wondering why you use "master bedroom" instead of some other term? As a southerner, I understand the history of that turn of phrase, and personally disapprove of it. But you do you etc. I generally love your content!!

I completely understand and agree with where you're coming from. It's a term that is definitely being faded out given the context/history of it. I actually try to make sure to say "primary bedroom" instead, but so many people still use "master" so it slips on occasion. Appreciate you watching though!

on properties like this, are you able to build a dock there or are beaches considered restricted like many lakes around the country,

We would need to get an engineer and environmentalist to confirm for this specific property/parcel, but neighboring homes have docks and piers for boat access. Check out a satellite image and you can see what I'm referring to. Again, we would need to confirm because regulations change over the years. Thanks so much for watching!

No, there isn’t an elevator on this home. You could certainly put one in though! I have another video (Hidden Island Paradise) that has a brand new elevator already installed. The lot for this fixer upper home is roughly 3 oceanfront acres, with over 300ft of beach frontage! 🤩 thanks so much for watching!

I would have to have a dock w better access. Even one like at your house...the gang plank. I haven't been back to the keys in a few years. Since the late 80s, I spent lot lots o' time in the keys, filling coolers w fish and bugs at channel 5. Diving in KW was the BEST then. I loved visiting, and always anticipated my next trip. The people who are paying the crazy prices for homes in the keys don't know how fast their marine environment is dying. They actually missed the best days. I Packed up and moved from South Florida two years ago. I live at nearly 10k feet in the Colorado mountains now. Traded in all my boats, fishing and diving gear for ATV's, which I really enjoy riding in the mountains. Check out my videos on you tube. I enjoy watching ur husband's videos of him spearing and fishing...I haven't had fresh fish for a few years now, I'm jealous.

It costs a premium to live in paradise! Beachfront acres are very rare in the Keys, so it’s expensive to obtain just the land and building rights alone. The home doesn’t need a million dollars put into it though. I encourage you to look at the neighboring homes’ list prices to understand our market better. If it was turn key, I promise you it wouldn’t be close to this price one bit. 😀

This property has potential. This video was totally unprofessional. No plan, no order, no information, no context. Dressed like you're going to the dog run. We failed you kids. We did not prepare you for life. This is our fault. This is not the way to sell anything. It's just an announcement "He look at the super dope house!".

@@FLKeysMadeleine Your defiance authenticates your unprofessionalism. We most certainly have failed you. All we got was an influencer "look how dope this place is!". It is not my opinion you have no information nor any expertise to offer. "I takes vision" doesn't help. There are probably many reasons it sits in disrepair. If those reasons are insurmountable, a buyer would need to know. If not, then selling the place would include those reasons. And that's what the video should have been. All we got was "Look at this view". I'm sure you make money being a 'Property Influencer'. However, the second they dont need you to do this anymore, you will learn in a hurry you have no skills to offer. We have failed you. You kids want to be a rock star, you dont want to become one. It takes education and time and effort. None of that is required to be an influencer. We have failed you. If you have information on this house, you hid it from all of us. Being likeable doesn't prevent someone from maybe losing 2 million dollars on a property. For some that is nothing, for others it's all they have. My retirement plan is to buy a boat in FL not a house. I would not buy either from an influencer. I would buy one form an expert who uses media to teach me. Especially if it were in a fun way. You seem like a lot of fun.

Watching you very few kids get paid doing this with mostly your personality is soul crushing. I had to sleep in cars in college, and woke with rats on me one night in law school, had to study mathematics in night school. I wish i could have grabbed a camera and been fun. To anyone reading this, the chances of this happening at you are slim to none. Fortune favors the fortunate. Don’t take my words for it, take hers. Where has she said or typed any information or expertise? Nowhere. Just “look how neat this is”. “It truly is a nature lovers dream” How would she know. Did they just rebuild that beach to make a sale? Will it last? Has the house ever been flooded? Why is it sitting like that, it’s under 3 million, lots of people have that. She made this video for her and it works for her, she gets paid. I guess I’m just pissed off. That’s on me. Doesn’t change the fact that this was a fun video about a house that may or may not be of value. She didn’t know anything about it. That’s still pisses me off. Before I could make a number on new stock offering I had spend hours and hours of sleepless nights going over everything. Today i could download a tool and just be fun. Done.
